The DeFi imbroglio has had ripple effects throughout the ecosystem with other networks such as Terra also feeling the impacts. The close ties between Wonderland and Abracadabra’s MIM (Magic Internet Money) token have also impacted Terra’s ecosystem since MIM is used for yield farming with the Terra stablecoin, UST.

The stablecoin has dipped below its peg recently on Wonderland concerns, and this has had a knock-on effect on LUNA which is used for its price-stabilization mechanism.

LUNA prices are currently down 13% over the past 24 hours as investors have been liquidating. Meanwhile, Wonderland’s native TIME token has crashed nearly 60% since the debacle began last week and is now languishing 96% down from its Nov. 7 all-time high of just over $10K.

I posted LUNA's TA some weeks ago and pointed out that the reason she was not affected by the last dip was because her own Charting shows she's still in an uptrend and that we should not be surprised to find her dipping even when BTC is mooning in the weeks to follow. However someone dismissed my TA and claimed that LUNA is fundamentally strong.
There are people that cherish rumors and media hype and ignore TA but fact is that even though TA is not perfect. It's the best tool we've got in analyzing the markets.

Yes it is true that when BTC rises in value so does Alt coins and vise versa but this is only a guide and not the rule. You should never make your Purchases based on the behavior of BTC alone, if you study the Daily Chart of LUNA you would confirm that she is on the different lane from the rest Alts.

True thats why I use the word "MIGHT".

I know someone who converted 90% of his portfolio to stables, hoping to buy back when btc touches 28k. Can't imagine the huge interest I would have missed if I done same.

I have been taking profits here and there as my portfolio pumps while most are waiting for 28k btc. so Basically, I am very much ready to buy dip too if btc 28k happens.

This bear market is not like the 2018 market, where everything crashed all together. Because of market awareness and liquidity, the bear is based on category this time around. For example, we have Layer1 bear, metaverse bear, defi bear, p2e etc. Since we have so much liquidity and there is inflation risk with the USD, people will only be moving from one category to another.

Look at the image below, the global coin market cap was at $3.1T in NOV9 when bitcoin was at 67k, now it is around $2T, and bitcoin stand around 43k approx. When you account for new coins being added every day, bitcoin has lost about 35% while the global coin market cap has lost about 50%, that is about a 15% deficit; where did 15% go (about 465B USD )?. these are Vanilla calculations off the head ( so figures might not be exact).

It can only mean one thing, some coins will never see the light of day again, so be careful when buying the dip because you might be buying into an exit scam. Ask EOS, NEO, SIMPLE TOKEN ETC
