Funds to do what in this case?

What they need is a powerful state that can truly project power across Air, land and sea backing African interests, crippling threats and providing a detterence.

A country that can carry out airstrikes on terrorists in the sahel, carry out naval blockades of pirates in Somalia, on the same day, and provide aid for poor states without breaking a sweat.

And through the organ of the African Union.
It would limit non-african interference causing all these problems.

Egypt would have done that, but they are focused on the middle East.

Africa need power,not funds.

All this things you mention needs fund which is money them no get support who will risk his men to go fight a war which do not concern him AU has no troops under is command even AU house was built by China as a free token to tell u how useless it is to Africa

The suspension is not necessary. Now the politicians in Nigeria are committing all forms of atrocities no one is talking. If military decides to take over power, the AU will then wake up and suspend them. Let us be careful how we handle the affairs of men.

I'm not surprised that the AU reacted to the Burkina Faso coup after the military has taken over the government from the so called democracy leaders (bad leaders).

why didn't the African Union or UN do something when the so called Democracy leaders of Burkina Faso were busy stealing money and depriving her citizens the Basic Amenities?


Corruptions and bad leadership is what gave birth to Coup.

I'm not oblivious of the goings-on in Sudan. There will be an election next year and time table had been drawn up for handover already. Just like I mentioned in my earlier post, the military will leave and I hope the civilians won't turn to their old ways by the time they take over else, there'd be another coup. African politicians are super corrupt. Nigeria is even worse off.
