My advice to you are:
Focus on your studies. Don't allow worldly friends, football betting, excessive alcohol consumption and lack of self discipline hinder you from getting excellence.
Shine among your coursemates. No normal person lights a candle and keep under the bed. Read before every class (go through the course outline), anwser and ask questions in class. Don't mind people that may call you ITK. Sell yourself, there will always be premium buyers.
Engage in extra curricular activities.

Don’t listen to anyone telling you nonsense of graduating without a job.

I had to login just to say what I know because of plenty negative words here.

Just make sure you start so strong from your 1day in campus. Put your hears down to informations regarding your profession and get close to some of your senior colleagues if possible let one who’s doing good to mentor you from beginning till after school. If you can’t get any just let me knw as you progress in studies. If you must keep friends, try and keep like minds and a circle of 3 to 4 is enough. Just keep your head straight on your final Viva exams so that you won’t cry when seeing the people who started the same day with your
going to start practicing.

God bless your days in campus.
