That's awesome. Congrats @5gee but why do you say pay of all our debts and why do you want to leave?! Is UK in a big economic crisis that makes you want to leave so badly. Please kindly share. I'm considering leaving the UK too. Thank you
All the money borrowed to fund the corona virus interventions plus the ones stolen by people will have to be paid back, starting in April. I don't want to contribute too much to what I did not benefit or only benefitted little from.
I want to leave for several reasons. I haven't really felt at home here and ideally I will like to return back home. Also, I like to travel and work in different countries, this will make it easier for me to achieve.

I actually meant excluding rent and childcare only cos I've been able to get estimates for those. Please, how much should we budget for bills, transportation and others monthly?

DisGuy:

Okay, 300 for food is decent for a family of 3; thought he meant excluding rent and childcare only

I asked the same question towards the end of last year as I read it sometimes on this thread that having a provisional licence invalidates your international licence. I didn't get any response from anyone.

I am glad someone else is asking the same question. I believe it is wrong information. Provisional licence does not invalidate the right to drive with international drivers licence so far it is still within 1 year according to DVLA.

DeeOneBangin:
Who’s up for some arguments

Mass of information out there claiming that once you get a provisional, you can’t drive anymore on your international license even if you haven’t spent up to 12 months.

The flight is ok. But make sure u eat well before u enter the flight, their food is small and only once I was served till we got to instabul. Just take snacks

U need a pre departure test , day 2 for vaccinated and Day2 and day8 if you are not fully vaccinated, then front page of your lucator form. Nigeria airport will check, and when u get to instabul they will check too. Just make two copies of pre departure test, one will be collected from the Turkish stand in Nig. And the other copy will u will show at instabul during connecting flight.

Thank you for your response.

Thanks for the heads up

What's the insurance quote on international license like and which firms offer cover?

comparethemarket or confused dot com will be of great help.

What does "UK Standard" mean?

It means you need to get a professional to check your CV and make sure it picks up keywords for the jobs you are applying for.

Update on this. I emailed support@innovate1services.com and they sent this link https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/. I now have a date on Feb 14th. You might want to try this link if you have paid and waiting to be contacted. You might have to email them directly if the link doesn’t work for you.

God bless you for this piece of information, i was able to secure February appointment for my child as well.

Hi everyone.
Please I would like to know if I have to pay a deposit before I could rent an accommodation. I have a bedroom studio that I am going to view today but I saw that they requested for a deposit but I am confused because I don’t know if the deposit is the rent fee for the month or if it is extra payment and also if anyone have bedroom in London to rent please I am interested thanks.

Most accommodation request for deposit ( very few don't request for deposit). The deposit is used to hold the house down and when you are leaving the house after your tenancy expires the deposit will be returned to you that's if there no damages when you are leaving the place.

There are accommodations that don't request for deposit.

Deposit is very common in UK. Some deposit could be very small some could be same amount with with the rent while some the deposit could be higher than the rent.

Na to gather money buy a full one now. When it pumps you sell and then buy more than 20 at a cheaper price after the split and pocket the profit.
