It is a known fact that Nigerians, in their tribalism and blindness, would rather repeat the buhari mistake again and again than vote an Igbo man.

But, the Igbo President that will repair this country, and he's on the way, will not come through the polls.
It is not tribalism . An Eboe candidate s not sellable, BAD MAKATE

The simple honest truth is that in your interactions and speech you come across as condescending .
That is the perception everyone has of you and there is no track record of administrative competence ANYWHERE in the SE s o why would anyone vote you

You that go around saying you are the smartest, the most hardworking the this the that? By nature you do not have the necessary humility for success in Nigerian politics

If we're talking about mediocre leaders your eastern region would take the lead in the regard.....your region is the size of Niger state but receives allocation for 5 states yet nothing tangible to show for it......if you really care about leadership you'd start from your waste land of a region. If the fulani north can't vote any competent Igbo presidential candidate because of tribal and religious sentiments then nigeria doesn't have any business remaining a united country. How long will nigerians continue to live like this? Restructure nigeria the north says no way, give all the regions the opportunity to produce the president they still says no, allow everyone to go their way and be in control of their destinies the same north says they will all prefers to all die than watch this come to pass what a people. undecided

I have to agree with Deji Adeyanju, Peter Obi stands no chance at the elections, no Igbo man does unless both parties APC and PDP decide to zone the presidency to the South East, and that is highly unlikely

Never say never in life anything is possible no one can really predict accurately what will happen if the pdp allows obi to fly their ticket nigerians have suffered enough and are now wiser.

I don't and i can't believe this? If nigeria needs to get going again, honestly Peter Obi will be paired with Tambuwal .
Peter obi president
Tambuwal vice president.
This ticket will fly.

Why must the north retain power in 2023 if Nigeria believes in equity

because since 4th Republic started in 1999, Nigeria has had four (4) Presidents, including the present one. Two had come from the South (Obasanjo and Jonathan from South-West and South-South respectively) and served 14yrs whereas, two from the North (Yar' Adua and Buhari, both from North-West) served(serving) 10yrs. So, out of the six geopolitical zones, three have produced the President and three have not and for the ake of equity u mentioned North have to balance the 4yrs to make it 14 each!

You Igbos love flights of fantasy sha. How many Nigerians will vote an Igbo President if a non-Igbo is presented by other Parties in the same election?

You people are dreamers incapable of facing reality which is that Nigeria will never ever get an Igbo President except the ruling Party and main opposition presents Igbo candidate thus giving Nigerians no choice bit to vote one Igbo or the other.

Knowledge that only you have, not common knowledge for the Igbos. Who will not allow an Igbo to become president of Nigeria?
2023 is the defining moment for Nigeria's integrity. We have been zoning the presidency between the north and the south since 1999. It's common knowledge that it's the turn of the Igbo to present a successor to President Buhari.

Understanding the rules of politics is very necessary to succeed in politics.

This very idea that it's the turn of the Igbos shows inadequate understanding of the rules and it's one of the draw backs of achieving Igbo presidency because it gives those who believe in it a sort of entitlement mentality.

Those with this mindsets sat down for so long, expecting to be dashed the presidency and are just starting to invest in the presidential race, just when the election is around the corner.

If Peter Obi does his home work very well and the election is free and fair, of course he can win.

Nigerians are not as foolish as the purveyors of tribalism and lackeys of fraudulent politicians want us to believe...

Absolutely correct.

Peter Obi, in my own opinion should have started making moves for the presidency immediately after the 2019 elections.

He should have assembled a team of young intellectuals to look at the problems of Nigeria and proffer solutions to them. Then, he should have started giving these suggested solutions to the Government and general public in forms of periodic interviews, during convocations, public lectures like the Platform, Ahmadu Bello and Awolowo Foundations Lectures series, direct and active participations In PDP affairs. He should have sponsored his loyalists in the NWC of the PDP like Wike and Atiku are doing.

Nobody takes you serious in Nigerian politics if you are too gentle and easily predictable.

Do you really think the Hausa-Fulani hates Igbos?

The same Hausa-Fulani pardoned Ojukwu, 12 years after the war, the same Hausa-Fulani made Alex Ekwueme and Umuezeoke Vice president and Speaker of House of Representatives between 1979-1983.

Maybe the Hausa-Fulani don't trust the Igbos with power but they don't really hate them.

The ethno- religious riots in the North were largely a We-Vs-Them fights and not particularly targeted at Igbos. All non-muslims and even moderate Muslims from the south are usually targeted during such crisises.

The rest of Nigeria hates the Igbo man because of his perceived supremacy

At least, if the rest of the people hate Igbos, the Igbos shouldn't hate themselves.
So how come that this perceived superiority of the Igbos hasn't turned Igboland into a First world zone?

But you are the one greatly deluded with thinking that it's right for SW APC to ask for zoning of the presidency between the north and the south to enable the south produce a successor to President Buhari, but refuse the same zoning for the southern regions, because it's the turn of the Igbo to present a successor to President Buhari.

Political parties and NOT the SW has the power on zoning their tickets.

The SW is just one out of the six Geo-political zones and doesn't have the power to determine where each political party zone their tickets.

There were also Igbos as foundation members of APC. Are those Igbos not qualified to be president of Nigeria after president Buhari?
What makes you believe that because there were more Yorubas than Igbos who voted for Buhari, therefore, APC presidential ticket shall be a reward for the SW?
Ethno-religious bigot, develop more sense.

Factos

The political leadership in the South East will not even push for him. He is not your regular politician and is still seen by many as a new entrant in the PDP who is trying to jump the line.

For the general elections, Obi is too reserved a politician...no structure even in his home State excepting goodwill. He is an excellent leader and a good administrator but in political terms, NOT JUST THERE.

Make no mistake about this. Obi okwute is a seasoned industrialist who will turn this country around for the better. This can't be overemphasized really. The only reason he won't win is because there is simply nothing like the Nigerian Dream.

Who is Barack Obama in politics compared to Mitt Romney and the Clinton's. But Obama rode on the American dream and today he's one of the greatest.

You and your future kids needs obi as President more than he even needs the position and whatever that comes of it.

If Nigerians want their kids to continue staying at home cos of ASUU strike, protest end sars, spends billions on school feeding but ordinary biscuit their children no see, they can go ahead and recycle the ineptitude.

A black man said obi is an administrator, a seasoned industrialist but will not win because he is not a politician.

The way of corrupt people - perennial investment in effort to grab political power.

That your type of engagement with perenial investment in gaining apex political power - Tinubu and Atiku style - does not work in Nigeria because of rotation of the presidency.

Obasanjo, Yar'Adua, Goodluck Jonathan, not even Buhari engaged in perennial investment in gaining apex political power of Nigeria.

Okay after the primaries Igbos gave Obasanjo votes massively than even south west States

What's hard now to return the favour

If not for anything but for equity sake

Obasanjo/PDP won in areas where PDP was strong and lost in areas where it wasn't.

Why is it very difficult for Nigerians on Social media to understand that it's political parties that contest for elections?

If Peter Obi gets the PDP ticket, he will win in PDP dominated areas, even in the S/west

All indices of human development in Nigeria point to the SE as the zone with the highest.

Perhaps, you see the standard gauge rail lines in the SW and north as efforts of the SW and northern leaders.

How many modern airports, for example, have been built by state governors in the east? It's the highest number compared with any other zone in Nigeria, if at all you understand the cost of building an airport and its importance.

Please list these indices of human development and who carried out these studies with dates.

They contested because they had a constitutional right to do so and believed in themselves that they can still win.

So, Peter Obi, Anyim Pius Anyim, Okorocha, Ngige can do the same.
