germination needs warmth and moisture, which is the reason why some farmer experience irregular germination as a result of the dry/cold weather

lol be like say you be new comer for this cucumber biz bro. I used 80 bags of 25kg cow manure bro inside a hole then planted inside it. Planted 6,000 stand. The cold is mad. Majority are just waiting for the cold to go before planting.

Bro am only talking from experience ooh. What have noticed is planting cucumber between December to early February when the cold is highest is a risk. Have always had problem with germination, bending fruits due to bad pollination because dem bee self no gree come outside con play with flower. It's just what have noticed bro..

Yeeeaahh incomplete Pollination dey bend fruits.... Someone was suggesting that I should spray boiled sugar on my plants during the cold period... But I haven't tried it out yet

I planted like 50 stand of greengo f2 seed, 38 stand was producing (male flowers 92% female 8%) while 12 stand produce 99% female flowers.f2 Stand that produce female flowers compare with f1, I Will say "they are thesame" my colleague that planted 3000 f2 and 3000 f1 said the same thing.

Please, how is the F2 fruits compared to the F1 fruits in terms of both sizes and fruiting?

if you don't know how to process seed, don't try it!! , else all your cucumber plants will be producing male flowers

I'm not doing that, why warning ... More over I'm not a novice in agriculture atleast I know better in my own little way.... Bro

Commercial farming is what I've being doing since I finished Uni. Over 10 years ago...

I get your warning, but what you thought isn't what I meant..... You experimented with the F2 , nothing bad if I should try either .....

The seeds aren't that expensive why would I risk time, energy and money to replant an F2 seed?

some time I remove the net,and sometimes I water like that. anyway it suit me.

could you please explain why f2 seeds shouldn't be planted? I wanted to replace some of my seeds with f2. About 5% didn't come out, Is it's advisable to do the replacement?
