Misplaced priority as always.

Nigeria Government will always do the wrong thing at the Wrong time. And that is because we allow people with archaic and outdated methodologies to lead Us.

The End Sars protest that started on twitter really rattle them and shook them to ghe marrow.

I hope they don't get around to doing this though. The Twitter ban took us back several years. We can't afford to be dragged back again.

Good
I will not forgive NBC if anything is not done about our entertainment /music industry that dishes out rubbish and perversion to the society under the umbrella of "freedom of expression", thereby fueling all sorts of social vices

In this case abuse and excesses are allowed until this cankerworm bedeviling our once sane society is nip in the bud and until we have a brain reset

They should just turn off Internet completely... let start watching TV and listening more to radio.

There we go again...

Can't they leave social media and focus on pressing issues?
Don’t mind the silly politicians
Wasting money & time on irrelevant things instead of tackling pressing issues.
It’s obvious they have nothing to offer Nigerians besides keeping them in bondage.
Things are getting bad everyday because of their actions and it’s ripple effect on the country.

Nigerian youth are not helping in terms of content creating(or lemme say most)... Imaging people creating content promoting rituals and killing... They would allow government use this opportunity to silence the reasonable ones on social media....

I swear, some skit makers are even putting people in harms way, all in the name of making skit.

I watched one the other day, a man went to a fuel station with matches and was shouting "i go burn myself, look at my matches". Everyone took off, even the pump attendant that was selling for someone in a gallon.

Lol.

Still, I support some form of regulatory control.

treatise:

Go to Mexico, USA, Canada and see for yourself gory contents ; your submission may be government alibi is silencing or gagging the media. Which offence did Twitter commit?
This is one of what Twitter created sir. A violent rhethoric left on its platform and led to death of a lot of people.
I remember Bishop Oyedepo raised this concern about how social media has destroyed a lot of destinies of the youths.
You will cringe at how the ability of youths to constructively engage and write correct English spellings has been destroyed by the unregulated social media.
Someone who is a cyberbully, troll and fraudster will hide behind a keyboard and make criminal libel and want to get away with it citing that social media culture allows people with criminal proclivities to continue to roam the cyberspace. It can't just continue like this. It's completely unacceptable!

There's nothing social in the social media, it is antisocial as much as social so let's quit the pretence. Only regulation can reign in or reduce the antisocial part of social media or else like it did with EndSars when we woke up to see our Lagos city burnt, this unsocial media will consume everyone.

They have not even done the necessary things that should be done in the country, but they want to regulate social media content to stop people from airing their opinion.. ..... They want to commit their atrocities and get away with it. Evil people..
