People I don't understand the news about Amunike's appointment. What I saw was about Emma will be Chief Coach and Augustine will continue as TA. Is Egu going back to his old role or is he staying as Emma's boss.

Well said My Good man Joe. Well said.

@bolded... that's 3 local coaches who rate the lad. Salisu, Amuneke, Eguavoen, all from different parts of the country oooo... lol

Meanwhile @italicised bolded.... I no fit shout..... you are a bad man when you want to be. grin Habamana... kaaiiiii... you want to take my ribs from me!!! TheBadJoe. grin

TheGoodJoe:

My point has always been that you are so full of yourself and talking as if you have an idea of things you do not know. Increase your teachability index. You claim knowledgeable of things you have no idea of.

What do you know about players compared to coaches that have direct contact with these players?

Salisu is a fan of this kid. Eguavoen said it openly that he is a fan of the kid. Amunike called Nwakali a gift to football.

Then you who have not played professional football, let alone coached even departmental class will come up screaming as if you know more than them.

Sometimes, you chill and learn. You do not always run your mouth as if you know all.

That is how the Chidera Liverpool trial came on and you tried to run it down. Talking as if you have a tenth of the ideas of scouting players for Europe than one of the big wits like Babawo Mohammed.

Even I was pissed with the appointment of Eguavoen, but I had to chill and study what he is doing.

All our coaches can not be wrong. If they feel Nwakali can help, sometimes chill and learn.

The kid was brilliant when he came on. Beyond even my own expectation. Yet you are running nepotism, corruption.

As if you are not one of the most biased persons I have ever met on Nairaland.

These guys know more than you. CHILL.

We do not even have enough cooks.
I see Rodolfo Borrell, formerly Director at Liverpool academy sacked with immediate effect alongside Frank McParland, sacked by Brendan Rodgers for corruption.

The Minister of Sports/NFF are taking us back old school. I think the Minister wants things happening like in the past.

The Head of the Technical crew is the TECHNICAL ADVISER. That was Westerhoff's position.

Then Bonfere Jo, was the assistant, and known as the CHIEF COACH.

So, Eguavoen (Westerhoff) is head, and Amunike (Bonfere Jo) is assistant.

It is still early but I have to admit, Eduord Mendy is already a LEGEND in football.

Cerezo's old role is still Emma's boss. He is still TD.
I think adding Technical Adviser (Interim) means we'd still see him in the dugout beside Emma and Salisu

Meanwhile I heard that Aliou Cisse has been coach of Senegal for about 7 years now. They stuck with him and finally they have made history. Let's appoint a Nigerian through the right channel and support him. Of course not someone who is corrupt or who would using the national team to sell players.

I think he is the third coach now behind Lillo, the short man in the picture. Guardiola rates Rodolfo highly. He has been a big part of the team.

You suppose know Nigeria and their oversabi smh. Pinnick is listening to the mumus pushing this "consortium of coaches" talk. Amuneke once said he was above being assistant to Rohr. I'm surprised he'd be accepting this job.
Na here we dey sha.

Even if dere was a slight deflection ,he had d whole time to correct d situation considering d distance of d shot
I have to disagree with you, deflections are one of the most difficult to save no matter the level of experience of the goalkeeper.
Also Uzoho has conceded some funny goals as well like the ones he conceded against England and Seychelles.
The goalkeeping department have a lot of work on their hands and making Okoye a scapegoat is ridiculous, we barely created chances throughout the game and it's not his fault.
No one remembers Lloris' comedic error against Croatia at the 2018 world cup because they won the game and the trophy.
You all should just chill with this.

To be frank, I don't see anything special about this Nwakali. That he's an unending subject for discussion here is the 8th wonder of world to me.

The fact is that if he's really that good he will not be scraping at bottom tier league.

Even Iwobi that many have lambasted plays for a decent club.

I don tire for this Nwakali talk but then much of the criticism particularly from komekn is just so personal, so bone cutting that it appears to me as hatred.
