Joezinho:rueben Gabriel played the qualifiers and also got a goal leading to the world cup but you came here posting obasi that has no input leading to the world cup and also claiming he ought to be in the Squad like it his birth right just to prove our local coachs are being shady ![]() |

Joezinho:joe baba, funny enough those guys won Afcon and reached WC second round, equalled 1994 SE record but here we are with talents and for good six years with Rohr, nothing much....with Eguavoen let's wait and see,.... |

Kog45:Bros, even with the talents we couldn't get past a Tunisian side ravaged with covid and without their head coach thus equalling our worse AFCON since 1984. Let's see how it all pans out sir. |

TFLASHOGEE:Thank you my man....Juwon Oshaniwa was like Mike Emenalo of US 94 who came in for Ben Iroha and did well...Oshaniwa replaced inured Echiejele and did well in 2014 WC....Kunle Odunlami and Egweke were the best in NPFL and better than Kenneth Otigba who was Hungary based...Gabriel Reuben was Keshi project and if not for injury the guy would have be what we all know Ndidi for today...Uche Nwafor and Uchebo the two who I believe didn't deserved to be in team came in as a result of Ike Uche criticism of Keshi tactics and Brown Ideye form but to me the Ike and Ideye deserved to make the team....Uzoenyi was a CHAN revelation,so sometimes it happened. This team gave us Afcon and reached WC second round,no matter the criticisms. |

TFLASHOGEE:Are some of our NT coaches not corrupt? ![]() We r not deliberating Obasi’s worthiness in that squad. He didn't play the qualifiers, did they call him and he refused? Emmanuel Sarki also said he was asked for a bribe in 2013 to play for the SE. How did players like Uche Nwofor , Uchebo, Babatunde Michael make the team ahead of Brown Ideye, Aluko, Obafemi martins and Uche Ikechukwu? We have been to 6 world cups, the only ones tainted with allegations of corruption in player selection were the 2002 and 2014 WC squads selected by Nigerian coaches. One of our major problems as a nation is that once we support someone, he can do no wrong in our eyes and will make excuses for their shortcomings. We do it with our politicians and that's why they've taken us for a ride! |

Joezinho:Joe,Libya 1982 was our worst Afcon not Ivory coast 1984 cos we reached final and lost to highly experienced Indomitable of Cameroon...I remember 22 years old Stephen Keshi captained the team with two experienced players in Muda Lawal and Henry Nwosu who was 17 years old during 1980 afcon and still young at 23 in 1984..we missed Peter Rufai in the final due to injury and Patrick Okala a junior bro to Emma Okala couldn't do it as Rufai. |

Kog45:Bros, that 2014 squad reeked of corruption...The likes of Eguekwe, Ruben, Babatunde, Agbim, Uchebo and Ameobi etc had no business in that team. Uzoenyi gets a pass cos he was the MVP at the CHAN but it was hard justifying his place while the likes of Uche ike, Obasi, Aluko etc were left out. It was a disgrace.. |

TFLASHOGEE:A player that’s always injured but made it to the World Cup and 2013 afcon ,he didn’t get a single minute at the afcon if I could remember Our local coaches are shady bros ,but I like the eguavoen I see |

Joezinho:I remember Obafemi Martins was invited against Kenya and to be sincere not the same Obagoal.....Ike Uche fall out with Keshi during 2013 Afcon and no coach will take a player to WC who don't follow his instructions....Ideye indifferent form didn't do justice to his exclusion...remember Keshi didn't want Osaze just cos during 2008 Olympic,Osaze criticized Siasia openly and 2010 WC criticized the technical team for preferred Chinedu Obasi ahead of him,no coach wants such player but Keshi was prevailed on he made the team but they still had little disagreements. Chinedu Obasi and Emma Sarki allegations are baseless cos as at then they can't make the team.....Obasi was having injury crises and Sarki cannot even make Nigeria number five super eagles team. |

Joezinho:you keep on shouting it was a disgrace but the world cup the foreign coachs took us to go check the Squad list and see friendge player's making the squads and this same 2014 world cup Squad you are criticizing because it was a local coach in charge equal the 1994 run in the world cup reaching the second round and also the nations cup trophy or you wanna justify how Brian idowu made the last world cup was he the best we got and was it a local coach in charge ![]() |

andrewbaba44:Andrew,did you know that Daniel Amokachie made France 98 team as injured player...did you know Emma Amuneke was not really fit for Atlanta 96...Ben Iroha was half fit prior to US 94.....when coaches believe in a player it happen...If you don't know it was glaring that Chiedozie Awaziem was injured prior to just concluded Afcon but technical crew believe they can manage it and if Nigeria progressed we would have seen Awaziem. |

andrewbaba44:then let conclude Eguavoen and amunike will be shady since we wanna paint the goat black just to hang it, I don't understand how people just got a job few hours ago and some people already bring conspiracy theory about how they will be thrift between the coach's and now how unnecessary players will floored the national team when it clear to everyone here who our best leg's are and am sure the coach's know people are watching them to make mistakes just to justify their claims of local coachs shouldn't be handling the affairs of our national team am sure if aliu sisse was our coach we would have kicked him out long time ago ![]() |

Watford's new boss Roy Hodgson has admitted that he's looking forward to seeing the club's top scorer in action when they take on West Ham United in the Premier League tonight. In Hodgson's first game in charge as the Hornets boss, the experienced English football tactician was without the services of the Nigerian as he was serving a one-game ban. The Super Eagles striker was dismissed in the closing minutes of Watford's 3-0 loss to Norwich City on January 21. Dennis has been the shining light in what has been been a poor season for Watford, scoring eight goals and assisting five others in nineteen outings in the top-flight. Hodgson has spent two weeks watching the number 25 at close quarters ahead of the trip to the London Stadium. "I’m looking forward to seeing Ismaïla and working with him; I've seen Emmanuel in training and I’m looking forward to seeing him in the game," Hodgson said to Watford's official website. "I’m hoping that the obvious talent of these players and the fact that they have scored goals this season will continue because we’re going to need goals." Dennis has yet to open his account in 2022, firing blanks against Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Norwich City. |

drDoom3: I followed Paulo Henrique Ganso totally. I started following Neymar at 13 years old. I even watched Neymar around that age play with Robinho when Robinho was on holidays. Ganso to me was not even the most worrying. It was Jean Carlos Chera who to me was an outstanding talent. JEAN CARLOS CHERA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCh_R_DM9wU As far as I am concerned, Jean was Moe talented than Neymar. However, Nwakali needs to keep working hard and if he changes his attitude, he can still fly. Building himself from a low team in Spain looks a smart move to me and I still believe he can soar. |

Kog45:just look at how he kept on shouting the 2014 world cup is a disgrace because friendge player's made the squad as a result of local coach but failed to realize that was our 3rd best outing since 1998 but couldn't say same of 2010,2018 where it was foreign coachs that lead us to the tournament and frindge players where also in the squad and we didn't even make it past the group stages. |

TFLASHOGEE:Where in my post did i call Amuneke or Eguaveon shady? I respect Eguavoen a lot cox he has never been accused as a shady person. Stop getting worked up dude. Some naija coaches are shady. Is salisu not a corrupt mofo? Wasn't he caught? Isn't he still part of the coaching crew? |

Joezinho:I was talking to Andrew who said Nigeria coaches are shady and I said we should conclude since some people already have that mind set and already saying more useless players will floored the national team as a result of having local coachs let just conclude it will be same under Eguavoen since we wanna start judging them when they haven't started. |

TFLASHOGEE:Where is the conspiracy theory I brought here ? Same me that was supporting eguavoen appointment before the afcon and still after the afcon So what’s wrong in my saying our local coaches are shady if I may ask ? I trust eguavoen and I like his afcon squad ,but I don’t trust amunike . |

andrewbaba44:baba I no say you bring conspiracy theory but you read submissions about what I pointed out there. You are free to air your opinion on whether our coaches are shady or not but soon people will tag this coaches being shady when they invite player's that doesn't suit some people here they will be quick to call them out for collecting bribes before calling does players. Well it fine if you don't trust amunike but hopefully they do the right thing that will lead us forward but I don't think amunike is shady. |

TFLASHOGEE:Some players didn’t made it to the afcon under eguavoen and some people where accusing eguavoen, some where even crying that bassey that didn’t play under rohr didn’t make the squad but I defended the squad ,my opinion was that akpoguma should have made the squad ahead of ndah and Ebuehi ahead of shehu and nothing much ,I didn’t even take it too serious self A whole boss like amunike go work under eguavoen, someone that’s even interested in the job ,water don pass garri ![]() Majority of our local coaches are shady but I am still glad eguavoen is in charge even though amunike might have some little influence |

Joezinho: I have argued this Egwueke thing before. That guy was good. Watch him in the game against South Africa that we drew. When we decided to go on the offensive, he was literally the only person that sat back to keep the rampaging South Africans away from scoring. People just tarnish players they do not know, forgetting even the ones they praise started from somewhere. |

andrewbaba44: It is called a National sacrifice. Amunike did not want to work with Rohr because of Rohr's negative ideology. Eguavoen shares an offensive philosophy and they are friends and former teammates. Eguavoen was also his captain. |
