The best investments are still from Western Europe and America.

Western Europe and America would not invest in a corrupt ridden country like Nigeria anymore, they are even trying to dinivest the their remaining assets. Siemens and Haliburton has taught them a lesson.

Only Chinese, Lebanese and Indians are ready to give bribes and compromise. All these are input into production costs and salaries.

I guess it will make them commissioners and politicians too. To help develop the country just like they did in south Africa as blacks no too get development sense...

My 2 cents!

Let me tell you one,

Expatraits working in Nigeria are given VIP treatments and paid in Dollars, their equivalent professionals are given peanuts compared to them and paid in Naira. Most of them are operating illegally here cos they often times bypass all the necessary documentation.

Sometimes they encounter wahala when luck runs out on them or they step on some toes and the country becomes too hot for them especially if Immigrations hands are greased to show them pepper.

In Nigeria they live like kings but when they return to their countries might just be ordinary.

When they acquire Nigerian citizenship it will enable them to do all sorts of nonsense, live freely without any moderation and in addition acquire extra privileges even we ourselves can not dream of.

Sadly, this is how our stupid clueless leaders have reduced us to in our own country.

The wife must show proof of gainful employment with a minimum salary of N100,000 per month earned in the last 6 months prior to the application.


There is no way the NIS will make it easy to obtain the citizenship through marriage to women.

I don't agree with you. All miscreants that want to come to Nigeria from neighbouring countries are already here. There are hardly any restrictions stopping people from crossing the borders. The borders are as porous as a basket filled with water.

The move will only allow medium or higher skilled foreigners to become citizens. Only people with money dey marry wife, and our women no dey date broke men, not to talk of broke foreigners.
