Oh mama thanks immensely for checking on me. I'm fine o at least better than I was. Mum in law insisted I lie down and do nothing but to eat and sleep. She journeyed down to ensure I obeyed. She even did the cooking herself as hubby wasn't around. As I couldn't get to the hospital that day because it was a bit far from my residence and secondly it was weekend. I wasn't sure if I would see the doctor. So I jejely obeyed MIL and she advised I used ice water/cold water to massage my tummy/lower abdomen which I did. The bleeding has stopped, just a tiny drop I saw yesterday on tissue when I wiped. I'm trying my best to rest. Even though work isn't letting me.
But generally I feel better I was last week. Thanks so much ma for asking. I feel loved

Please mamas does one still need to take Ferrous tabs while taking single dose prenatals like pregnacare or natal care tabs..
If yes, is it three times a day or just once a day.

Good morning mamas. Hope we're all doing well. So I'm 8 weeks preggy and a few days ago I started spotting. Did a scan, but the doctor said it's still too early to know if anything is wrong and to repeat the scan in two weeks time. No drugs or anything was give , he only prescribed bed rest. But I'm getting worried as the spotting has increased slightly. Please is it possible that my baby is still fine with all this spotting, because the doctor said it's "threatened abortion".

It's not too early to detect if anything is wrong but I pray you're fine sis. I had same issue three weeks ago, went to an hospital, the doctor did scan and advised that I needed bed rest cos it was a threatened abortion but that everything is fine according to the scan result and I was 7 weeks plus.
I had bed rest for a week plus without going to work but surprisingly on the last day of my bed rest, I started seeing little drop of blood again. I had to go to a better hospital this time and I went to see a gynaecologist instead, another scan was conducted, the result came out and the gynae said the baby was fine so I was placed on duphaston which I have been using. If there is no changes after the bed rest,
I suggest to see another doctor. There shall be no loss ijn

Water is very good at this stage oo, you must drink well and ensure you ain't dehydrated at any time.

Do u want to use d castor oil to induce labour? If yes... I will advice u not to, though it wrk very well but dont use it, reason is dt people give reviews dt castor oil mk babies poop inside mother's womb, baby may ingest poop while one is in labour n we all knw dt aint gud.... Instead, just do d normal long walk, squatting, wrk d stairs, wud hav said tk raspberry tea or pineapple but its too late to take dt cs 4 one to hv d dosage one need 4 d raspberry or pineapple to wrk, one hv to b taking dem frm 37weeks 4 pineapple n 33weeks for raspberry.... If u cant do all dis, just walk into ur hospital n request to b induce artificially... Castor oil is a BIG NO... u will poop ursef n gt dehydrated n baby too will poop inside u n may endup in NICU... Chose wisely.

overpeeing is allowed in pregnancy ... A gud way to stay hydrated n flush away anything dt can cause infectn n excess salt n sugar.

My dear drink water o, no worry about peeing.i was not taking water very much and I suffered seriously, constipation wanted to kill me, my anus tore sef ..abeg drink water.

General hospital in Delta state is free o. From pregnancy till your baby is five years old. Free health care. All through till I was referred for my first, I never paid for anything except buying of gloves cos of Corona..... And the matrons attending to us during antenatal are so nice and patient. At every antenatal we go through almost all the test, if not all. Delta state is trying in that aspect o.

Not all the general hospital in Delta State, infact some general hospital in that state need to be closed down especially that otor- udu general hospital, in udu local government.

You just need to pray that u don't have emergency at night otherwise the outcome won't go well, they don't have nepa light even their generator is not functional.

I lost my baby boy there early this year when my wife was delivering,I just thank God that my wife didn't follow, the story would have be horrible, I wanted to take the matter to court but my friend said I should forget about it.
