Eguavoen and Amuneke Appointments are good Call, I support it 100%. Wasting Millions of Dollars for Bronze Medals at AFCON and second round at WC ain't something to cheer at all.

I am glad we don't hire another incompetent, overrated, Manager again, in the Name of hiring a foreign Manager.

Meanwhile, we need to be realistic henceforth and fairly critiquing the Squad. First and foremost, Alloy Agu must go. He's a big failure as GKs Trainer. I'll rather have Ezenwa in Goal than any of Uzoho or Maduka.

Presently we don't have Goalkeepers. I won't mind Local based GKs like Olohunleke Ojo or we invite that Israel based GK ASAP.

Other departments are OK, except Midfield, precisely AM Position. We need an AM like Okocha or Mikel ASAP. Iwobi ain't a Heir. He has been tested and obviously not good enough for the Role.

I would have canvassed for Olise and Eze, but both are playing as Wingers at Crystal Palace. To me Amoo is not good enough for AM. Our Scouts should find us a proper, natural No. 10 before World Cup begins.

Amoo is a winger not AM.. Amoo plays chukwueze's position..

S.E only has a goalkeeper problem every other position is good only player selection is S.E main problem outside the GK position..

Uzoho should be the main GK unless they find someone else...

Ziyech has retired from international football, this was similar to Moses' decision to retire from Super Eagles duty.

Ziyech and Moses are different things biko

Coach self talk say I will never call ziyech as far as he remains the coach because of disciplinary issue ,the coach said ziyech doesn’t want to train and faking injury ,how are we sure between the coach or ziyech who is speaking the truth ? Before that incident ziyech has been committed to Morocco

Moses retired from international football normally after the 2018 World Cup ,so why are you comparing his issues to ziyech own ? No Dey bring agenda biko

This thing reminds me of my friend's younger brother. The boy was so good. Brilliant creative midfielder and scores wonder goals.

First thing about this boy is his dada hair. Long and bushy. If you see him bounce on the road, you will think Messi polishes his boot every morning.

After a while, his coach dropped him from the team and the brother was mad.

None of the players could lace his brother's shoes. The brother was head and shoulders above them in talent. The elder brother went to the coach to confront him.

The coach explained.

Look around you. These boys working in my house are his team mates. They cut grass, fetch water, go to the market and even help me sell some of my business goods.

On the field, they listen to every word I say. They come very early to the pitch before me, and clean up after I leave.

Your brother has refused to cut his dada grin. I said cut dada and he said he will not cut dada. Come to training, he will say Belle is paining him. During match, pass ball, he will dribble like Messi from beginning to the end.

The coach pleaded that he was tired and that the brother can go with his MessiX2.
Once you find yourself in any form of relationship with a Nigerian who is older than you or has power over you, you will practically become his slave. They call it mentorship but I see it as an awful culture

What did we do to Victor Moses In the past decade he received as much preferential treatment as any Super Eagles player. Ziyech was not even in the last Morocco squad so this is definitely a different situation.

Moses retired normally ooooo ,I don’t know why he is comparing it to ziyech own

Moses didn’t have issue with anyone as ziyech has with the coach

That's your perception.

I first went to look at Etebo when he played for Warri Wolves and he stood out, it's not today I've known about Etebo.

Fast Forward he goes to Stoke city after the world cup, l had GREAT EXPECTATIONS for him. Sadly he did not live up to those expectations. I expected him to have a style of football similar to Ngole Kante.

He had some good flashes but was overall not able to to dominate in the club and league. That doesn't mean he is not good enough for the SE.

He has been playing for Watford has had a few games but injury has not helped him, effectively been out for 5 months plus.

He is not SPENT please, you are now TALKING HIM DOWN and your comments by are not objective but derogatory.

I gave an honest objective assessment of Etebo club and league performance that's not Talking down.

When he was at his best form at Stoke you said he was not outstanding in the Championship now he has not been playing you say he is our best midfielder, work me through your thought pattern

I keep wondering why Ejaria has spent so much time in the championship when the likes of Ebere Eze and Olise were able to step up to the premiership.

Same reason Kelechi Nwakali is still in the 2nd tier La Liga in Huesca wink

You are shaking tables. Watch your back.
I am actually indifferent to Nwakali but I'd glad if he eventually actualizes his potential.

Hardly heard reports questioning Ejaria's professionalism that's why it's surprising to me that he has remained in the championship.

To those without eyes they think they can see but only darkness and unfortunately they think that everyone else has no eyes like them.

There is no other second tier in the whole of Europe that players move to top leagues as much as the Championship.

The EPL is the best most competitive league in world, that being the case , we can make an informed projection to say the Championship is better than leagues rated 8 and above ❓

Napoli has a top Midfielder on loan from a Champion side ,in the name of Anguissa.

Currently Spence 21 year old left back for Nottingham is wanted by the creme de la crème of Europe top clubs. So also is his team mate Johnson .

But of course to the blind it's an Ogbomosho akpa - Akpro league. The same league that our best Midfielder IMO was not able to have dominance with Stoke City.

Below a clip of Spence making Arsenal's Martinelli look ordinary, the same way this Championship club flogged Leicester city 4-1.

Spence want play for Nigeria?

I dont mind trying out those good NPFL goalkeepers as our best keepers have always come from through the NPFL. Not invitation by sentiment like John Nobel, I mean very good goal keepers like the Rivers United and Remo stars GK.

There should be reward for hard work. If they can compete favorably with the ones that can save ordinary shot then bring them in. We need to solve this ASAP

Despite our poor outing (not poor by my standards), Nigeria will move to 3rd in Africa (to be released tomorrow) only behind Africa champions Senegal and Morocco. Here's how the teams will line up
Senegal - 18th
Morocco - 25th
Nigeria - 32nd
Egypt - 34th
Tunisia - 36th
Cameroon - 38th
Algeria - 43rd
Mali - 48th
CIV - 51st
B/Faso - 56th
Ghana - 61st

To an extent I'm looking keenly what Eguavoen and Amuneke combo would do for the super eagles. Both coaches share same philosophy, attack and defend as one piece. Amuneke likes string of short passes and the response of players when they are without the ball (like what to do when you're not with the ball).

Its just that the timing is short to implement much but I'd love to see the response of the players without the ball. And please our goal keepers need proper training/drilling not that thing Aloy Agu is doing with them (kick and dive). Their drilling should be different from when the rest of the team are doing their thing
If we can't get good keepers then we reward the local boys

We would beat Ghana with the same players from AFCON. All that matters is tactics. Ghana will not integrate all the new players intended quickly before that game. We are better structured. If we are lucky we get an early goal and revert to counterattack. If the Ghanaian side isn't fighting hard enough, we can come out to play and dominate them. It is all tactics.

Every player has to be on their "A" game. I'm also worried about Osimhen he has been the darling boy but sometimes he can be so aggressive in the big game and pick up a redcard. I really fear this negative thought. But hopefully, he realizes he doesn't have to be involved with every play but just be clinical on that day. If you get one chance bury it. If you get two chances do the needful. I doubt that the new European-African coach of Ghana understands the nitty-gritty of African football. Yeah he coached a Reading side that used to play rough and hard back then, but how quickly he will be able to achieve that pattern with Ghana will be a huge deal

Evolution of modern tactics has somewhat reduced the need to have a playmaker.

An effective high press can create far more chances than a single AM would.
The SE midfield lacks a genuine CM/CAM who can dictate the play with intelligent passing , positioning and movement.
We have a fair number of good dribblers already.
