Nairaland moderators are so biased with their judgments.

A guy called me a prostitute, the moderators didn't ban him. But I was banned just because I called someone "He-goat like you"

Were they expecting me to fold my hands and keep quiet while the guys insult me?? I'm not an introvert oooo.

Now my ban is over, if anyone ask for trouble I would give it to you double. I'm a moving trailer.
One moderator have once banned this my account for 5 years before over similar situation you discussed above.

I don't care about banned again...I have like 5 Nairaland accounts you banned me I switch over to another one.
Besides I use those other accounts for giving testimonial on the things I sell here also

This is highly irresponsible of Oyo state govt. and Seyi Makinde.

Govt. buildings are mostly MD Customers, they have their own transformers with the transformer meter accounting for the energy consumed, so their is no case of estimated billing here. Oyo state govt. just choose to be a bully by not paying their bill for over THREE YEARS...

IBEDC too are highly incompetent, no wonder they're going bankrupt. How will you allow a customer owe such huge amount over three years?

I never had cummulativeof 24hrs power supply since beginning of this year despite the fact that we are in second month of the year

IBEDC is not organized in the area of distribution and are very biased in distribution

How could you give at least 18hrs and above power supply to certain part of the city everyday and some will not have power supply for straight 3days despite there's no issue with transformer.

I lodge complaint to their branch and their staff were just looking at me like I'm saying nonsense. I called their customer care but the lady started saying maybe it's because I don't stay at home 24/7, how could someone expect me to stay at home 24/7?

Well, I use prepaid metre and 2k recharge since last year December has not been spent up to half when there no power supply.

Some part of Ibadan has damaged transformer for more than a year that IBEDC is demanding 70k we each house to enable them procure another transformer for them of which many of the house owner couldn't afford that and some not moved because they don't trust integrity of IBEDC

IBEDC needs to go back to drawing board to see what they are doing wrong

You don't expect people to at for darkness

90 out of 100 houses in Ibadan has power generating set from smallest size to biggest size
what's the name of this area?

Only those not in Ibadan will blame oysg on this. Ibedc are becoming something else in thisc area. Oyo state secretariat is a place that is often in blackout except for Generators. Where did ibedc get the bill of 150m/year from. The same is happening in most areas, they won't give you prepaid meters but only estimated billing. We have BN paying for what we didn't use. My area hardly get light for 1 to 4hrs per day, 3 days blackout 5 times in a month is normal here. Estimated billing was max 1k early last year but now, it's over 4k. They said our area is not eligible to get prepaid meters, I just started planning to get the meter thru the backdoor. Till the day we are set to deliver ourselves from this cheat

Nigerians are just allergic to paying bills and taxes.
Imagine someone complaining of a monthly bill of 4k, that's roughly #130 naira per day, that's not up to the price of a bottle of Coke nor a litre of PMS.

Funny enough a face me and face you with 10 occupants and shops will still complain about a 4k monthly bill

This is impressive! IBEDCs should go after all government agencies that owe them money, then they'd have enough incentive to invest in generating more electricity. As it stands, no government agency needs to pay their electricity bills. You just imagine Nepa trying to cut off electric to a barracks or a ministry and you'd understand how much they might owe.

I understand ur ordeal bro. ur meter na d thing wey spoil show for u. Some of ds Discos dont even want customers to have meter since dt ll bring transparency n accuracy. And ur band(A,B,C or D) is also a determining factor as per d number of hours u re suppose to have light in a day.

Oga nepa staff, are you trying to tell me that when I start having light for 20hrs daily, I should prepare to be paying over 20k monthly? Didn't you see how I described the state of electricity here or the urgency of carrying out your online PR task blinded you?
