uthlaw: This is actually not supposed to be funny. Why must this be how you respond? Are you aware that there are some indigenes of Lagos, Oyo, Rivers etc states(perhaps, the perceived above average states) who are not living in in those states? So, why that comment! Abeg, make una shift jare, everyday annoying comments on this space. |

eduj: 1. In terms of Transportation infrastructure, Ogun State is ahead. 90% of Lagos- Ibadan express road is in Ogun state. There is still Lagos- Benin Express. In fact, more payed express in Ogun state than in the SE. Inter city roads are paved and still undergoing constructions. Streets are payed in Major cities unlike ABA. There is railway stations and railway line in Ogun State. Two airports under construction. One will be completed in May. Transportation system will begin in few months time. Ogun has more bridges, flyovers, tunnel interchange etc than Abia state. 2. You have no idea why manufacturing companies are highly concentrated in Ogun State more than any state in Nigeria. Electricity in Ogun State is better than any state in the SE. 3. Apart from Seven deck along Faulks road, which building is higher than that in Aba? There's no single High-rise in Abia state because high-rise buildings are buildings with more than 7 floors. This can be found in Ogun State. 4. In terms of Education, Ogun State has more and better schools and universities than any state in the SE. Education doesn't stop a Waece or Jamb. 5. That's a stall news because those Flyovers are currently under construction. 4 Likes 1 Share |

eduj: The fact you don't know what Ishimri means in Aba proves you don't know much about ABA Go and ask the Slogan Ishimri then we can discuss further. Oga! I told you I lived in that place for almost a decade and you are still asking me if I know Ariaria, hmmmm! Even Abakaliki is more developed than ABA. I know ABA more than you. Nobody in the SW who has never been to ABA knows Ariria Market though it is the most popular landmark in Abia state but who doesn't know Redeem Camp, Ota farm, Animal care, Canaan Land, MFM prayer ground, Adire Market etc. There more popular landmarks in Ogun State than Abia state. Don't compare. 2 Likes |

The way politicians run the country, only few states can survive without federal allocation. Only lagos and rivers can survive. |

Bounceboune7:Abia State generates IGR more than most states in this country but it's not captured by government agencies. Most of these clothes you wear, with their designer labels are actually produced in Abia. I was surprised when I went to Aba, I saw people from other African countries buying shoes, sandals and clothes in very huge quantities. Abia can survive easily. I can't say same for my imo state 1 Like |

Why are these tribalistic idiots here attacking each other's tribes instead of the criminal politicians who plunged this country into extreme hardship? This is exactly what they want- you to be busy attacking each other like m*orons you are while they rape you financially from behind! When will you bigots learn? |

forgiveness: why are you listing prayer camps ? all you guys from SW knows about Ariaria -heck that's where most of una clothes ,jeans comes from. please along which part of faulks road is called ishimiri ? since you know Aba well ? and please answer my previous question . Obasanjo's farm, two prayer camps and a market I never heard of till today are the evidence that ogun is more developed ? thank God you called them landmarks -no longer development indices. Thank you for bringing Abakaliki into the thread. Also thanks for indirectly pointing out that, that city is still developed than any city in your ogun state. which city in ogun beats onitsha, Aba, Abakaliki, Enugu or owerri in development ? you think develop is having industries alone? that wrong . We see Dubai , California as places well developed but not industrialized like many less known Chinese or American cities. in terms of development be bringing out Lagos not that squatters colony called ogun |

forgiveness: the way you parrot federal roads never seem to surprise me- Aba alone has Aba-owerri express road,Aba-uyo express,Aba-pH (,falls under Enugu-ph express) so that makes you a misinformed lier. where are pictures from this airport supposedly under construction ? which boldfaced lie is this ? we have seen pictures from that of Anambra and ebonyi- where is pictures of those from ogun ? and who told you Aba inner-city roads are worse off than those of ogun ? Do you even realize your comparing a city to your whole state ? Flyovers serve a purpose not for decoration but even at that, ebonyi has more flyovers than ogun hence it's more developed- next !!
Another lie.Ariaria a formost commerce and production centre has a dedicated power plant . Does that your little market in ogun have one ?in addition we have the alaoji power plant and Aba ipp that will soon come on stream. Aba has manufacturing companies densely concentrated in it also.ranging from gunieas brewery, Nigeria brewery,Aba malt plant, afro beverages, inner galaxy industrial estates, pz, glass force-now console group, GZI , valumbra flour Mills and many more coming up (I listed only the multinationals I know of,no Nigerian owned factories). Till foremost data is released ,we will never know the cities in Nigeria that has more manufacturing companies. What is stopping the release of this type of information ? a state by state list of registered manufacturing entities. my mistake ,I should have said mid-rise building's (5 stories to 10) . And you keep exposing your ignorance of Aba .But please where exactly is this high rise (15-18 stories ) in ogun ? and yet jamb, waec and most other public exams, the SE is dominant. Why ? Beautiful and numerous building's yet no quality content -you must be a graduate of one of such. Even Ebonyi have a greater cutoff mark to get into Nigeria's unitary school than some states in the SW.
the above doesn't deserve an answer because it's a lie 2 Likes |

eduj: Which all? Stop deceiving yourself. Very few here knows Ariaria market. I never heard about it until I went there but everyone in Nigeria knows about Ota farm, Redemption Camp, MFM, Canaanan Land etc in Ogun State. I mentioned these places because they are popular and attracts millions of people per year. Simple and short.. Some of these places have hotels, university, sports facilities, TV and radio stations, housing estates, schools, malls etc. The point remains there are more popular areas in Ogun State than Abia State. Development yans is just another way of deviating from the point of debate in this context. When you get to Aba, ask for the meaning of Ishimiri, okay. You definitely don’t have an Idea. Can you please show me where I wrote those aforementioned places are evidence Ogun State is more developed than SE states? Stop confusing yourself and stick to discussion. Hahahaha! Abakaliki developed than all cities in Ogun State. Abakaliki can’t stand beside Arepo not to talk of Abeokuta. Abeokuta is more developed than Onitsha, Aba, Abakaliki and Owerri. However, we are talking about having more developed infrastructures in a state as a whole. And that’s why Ogun State is more developed than SE states. Gbam! Apart Owerri in Imo state, Onitsha and Awka in Anambra, Abakaliki in Ebonyi, and Umuahia in Abia State, mentions other cities in those states with soft and hard infrastructures. I reiterate, Ogun State is more developed than SE states. 3 Likes |

eduj: 1. How many lanes are those express roads? Apart from Enugu Port Harcourt express that is dualized, which one is dualized? ![]() Are they not filled with big pot holes? You even mentioned Aba - Uyo express? ![]() For your information, Ogun State has more dualized and well paved express than Abia State. Having express with potopoto and big potholes is not infrastructure development. ![]() 2. Google for Ogun Cargo airport and see for yourself. 3. Point of correction. I am comparing Ogun State with other SE states. 4. How many flyovers and bridges do you have in the whole of Ebonyi? ![]() 5. Ogun State as a state has more industries than all the states in Nigeria. My points remain the same. 6. According to Emporis, A building with 12 floors automatically becomes an high rise whether the height is known or not. Opic buildings in Abeokuta are 12 floors. E shock you? ![]() ![]() 7. Covenant university is the second best ranked university in Nigeria behind UI. Sorry. After all, that is where you will enter with your Jamb and Waec. How come all SE universities are not top 1 to 10? Miracle centers 4 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: The WAEC and whatever lies they peddled then have been denied by WAEC.It was the IIgbo lieing machine that invented those lies. Ogun state is more developed than any state in the SE.I have been to the SE. The only slightly developed place there is Onitsha. There is a lot of poverty in the SE and that is why a lot of them are running to the SW to do their petty trading. 4 Likes |

Obamaofusa: Why are you trying so hard to promote this your rotten State, Don't you think you should put this your energy into meaningful things, like pointing out bad roads, and perennial flooding in Sango, Ota, Ifo, Ijoko, Akute, Agbado, Oke Aro, Alagbole, Lambe, Atan, Owode-Ilaro, roads, same in Yewa/Awori, Sango-Idiroko and more. Do you think you are making sense by calling that rotten State of your developed? Please go and find yourself a better thinking cap, because this one you are putting on is dead 1 Like |

forgiveness: To many lies in a less than 300 word writeup -bro you be sat.n oh!! There is nothing today like ogun cargo airport,it's not in any FAAN newslater- only in beer parlour gists. Most federal roads in Abia is a dual carriage road. Do you even know that Abia shares boundaries with more than 5 states ? I just mentioned federal roads in Aba alone and you got Hbp. And till we get proper data like we see about registered voters, the fact that ogun state has more industries than all states in Nigeria is mere conjuncture-not a fact and industries doesn't make a state more developed than another. Since you accept that the SE comes out tops in federal exams ,what are we still arguing about ? Education is about the individual not the structure . If you have the best campuses in the SW ,yet the best students are from the SE, it simply means that the SE is top-simple as that . Let's come back to express roads in ogun ,wasn't it just last year that ogun got a respectable tolled express way that leads to Lagos ? Other express road in your state are mudpits for growing mudfish. No matter the number of flyovers Ebonyi has ,it greatly outnumbers whatever figure you can conjucture in ogun- even if we lovingly add the abandoned flyovers in ogun, you guys will still play catch up. For all una ..boasting, you all are underachievers. In the SE, we've had state government invest in building gas pipeline's to industrialize Aba. We've seen state government's build airports in owerri in imo,Umueri in Anambra and ebonyi . Your ogun never did any of such, yet you claim a development over the SE ? Are you well ? |

forgiveness: Aba-owerri is dualised, Enugu-ph is dualised, Aba-ikot ekpene is dualised, pH road is dualised,Aba road dualised. Thought you lived in Aba ? You should know what's going on at that road since last year na. This is your governors lamentations that 90% of federal roads in ogun are bad. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/482313-ogun-federal-roads-neglected-by-fg-abiodun.html Another one on state of federal roads in ogun https://guardian.ng/features/economic-activities-dim-as-federal-roads-turn-death-traps-kidnappers-stronghold/ Nlc blocking Lagos to Abeokuta road last year October because of its world record potholes https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/10/bad-roads-nlc-residents-block-lagos-abeokuta-expressway-again/ A concerned ogun mans lamentations about bad roads in ogun just last month https://www.thecable.ng/when-will-the-bad-roads-in-ogun-state-be-fixed/amp So my brother, are you sure you still want to roll down this path ?I mean about bad roads ? Remind me again where your state ranked in open defecation ![]() The SE can be excused on the state of federal roads because we've never had a vice president talk more of a president from the SE. What's your excuse ? What was your son OBJ doing during his tenure ? I mean, apart from the odi genocide he ordered ,banning and granting cement monopoly , granting MTN a decade monopoly to rip Nigerians off, killing off of Nitel, post office ,our railways and many more. What was he doing ? Now another of your son's is Vice president, he is a gentle detribalized individual, but what exactly is he doing apart from giving big speeches ? No wonder you quoted prayer camps among development enablers in ogun |
