Hi house,
Is it just me or is anyone else using the spark 8p experiencing slow internet connection?

My previous phone before this spark 8p (Pourvior 3) had an amazing internet connection speed (using the same sim, same location).

But this spark 8p can be quite frustrating at times.

What could be the issue.

The 4G on plastic 8p is edge in disguise. Spits.

my phone Huawei honor 5a,..so fast asin damn fast,pure 4glte phone not just a 4glte,..its a flash'lte....you can have a test when we meet for trade,200mb file downloaded in less than 1minute hit me up on WhatsApp 09031902212 for the pictures

Maybe network bad these days.

Check your network settings and be sure it's on 4G. also try restarting your phone

Check your network settings well. And have in mind that most network is bad this days

maybe you should check your network settings, or you should relate it to them at carlcare

My internet speed later picked up and was fast.
What I noticed.
If I am using like 2 mtn sims and connecting to the internet with one of them, the internet is slow. But when I switch off the 2nd sim and leave only the data sim active, the connection becomes fast.

But when I'm using mtn and airtlel sims on it, the data connection of the mtn sim remains fast as when I switched off the 2nd mtn sim on it.

nice observation, but atimes I feel the issue is from the service providers, Airtel network dey normally misbehave.

Check the internet connection. You can use https://fast.com/ to check your internet speed. And make sure it’s on 4G. I bought it for a friend last year in November and didn’t encounter such issue though

Which network particularly do you enjoy your 4G on?

The phone is just crazy. As you can see in the image below. The first image is the internet speed with only 1 mtn sim active. While the 2nd image is with 2 mtn sim active at the same time.

All this transion people self.

The transsion marketers don avoid this thread like plague

I haven't tried this. I will try this out to see how it pans out

Definitely the phone. I am not saying this happens to all Spark 8p, but it is happening to mine and I bought it brand new at the tecno shop

Try other network sim cards on it apart from your own sim card on the phone before you come to a final conclusion..

Have you ever tried your phone update before?. Same thing happened to mine( although mine is not 8p) when I updated it 4 months ago. But started working normally when they sent a new update just a month ago.

In a nutshell, if you have a pending system update(s) try it all out and if you don't, wait for the next update.

my Nokia 6.1 plus issa machine when it comes to network speed to me it's more better than iPhone 12 sef the phone is just too much
