With or without the plenty zeros that was removed? Ghana cedis is 6.5 to $1. 6 cedis is about 60 thousand or 6 million in their old currency. You people should stop deceiving yourselves. ak22: |

morikee:Very true sir... I never understood this till i travelled outside Nigeria. The power of money is in what it can actually purchase/buy and not a value given it. I stand to be corrected but Nigeria is one of the cheapest country to live in. Even though the naira on paper is trash. But it can buy more than its equivalent in many other currencies. |

morikee:. Your oil money, about 14 billion dollars a year is no small money. Your larger, very fertile land is also a big asset. You're the biggest producers of oil in Africa. Your large, entrepreneurial population is even a big asset. The T.B. Joshuas, the Adeboyes, the Olukoyas etc have made tremendous money/impact with your large numbers |
The cost of living is higher in Ghana compared to Nigeria. A friend is contemplating of relocating from our Ghana office to our Nigeria office.
|

And yet these ghanaians are never grateful. I was hoping they would carry out a full scale xenophobia so that Nigeria can finally shut them out for good. |

brain54:Well, buhari wants to destroy the currency that all of us have been managing. And yes, the value of a currency is in how much it can buy. |

My first shocker in Ghana. Me when like beer. I gats drink with sense. Seriously though my brain reset when #100k finish for my hand in like 1week plus on just food, transportation,'small' flexing alone. I just dey imagine where the money enter...or maybe i loss some. But on the other hand to make money is easier as compared...for instance masons make like 8k-12k daily...and they dont get stressed like naija counterparts. Ghanians dont work under pressure o! I doubt if a mason can earn as much in naija for a days job and with less work load. Work plenty na them dey select work with yanga. The problem is the money go finish before you know...due to the higher cost of living. Landlords, transporters, food and drink sellers make a fortune in ghana. But generally its s decent and peaceful place to live. No police harassment etc. And electricity...thats a constant! |

caprini1:A bottled water in the US .... $1.00 (N450) ... the same water costs N100. The purchase power of the Naira is greater than that of the US dollar. Let's not talk about the pound sterling. @ topic .... she did say she made money from Nollywood. One of the last from the Golden Age of Nollywood before Tonto Dikeh and the other invaders wrecked the business. Ghana also played a big part in wrecking the industry by introducing sex and profanity ... trying to Westernize the industry. Not impossible... but a whole lot harder to revive the industry in these times. |

Haha that's a big lie, infact the biggest lie ever, nor be Ghana where I spend some few months, elettricity where,? Another thing I discovered in that country there's no proper highway in that country infact between kumasi and accra just one narrow road, accra the capital is a developing town PetroDolla2020: |
