Mooh247:True, not there are two angles to this. Some people do not have a choice than to take for survival amd become victims Some honestly took it and want to pay back but expected fund got delayed and couldn't meetup on time. Are you saying that they deserve to be blackmailed, and treated like trash |
| Re: Petition To Ban Unscrupulous Loan Apps In Nigeria by Mooh247: 8:16pm On Feb 12, 2022 |
naijabetboy:No am saying that they deserve to be charged to court and prosecuted for trying to run down another man's business and source of livelihood of staffs and owners of the loan company Loan company don't issue out loans if you have no source of income... People with bad debt always tell lies about their finances to secure loans. This is very terrible and a punishable offense under the law.. A man works so hard for 35 painful years in harsh conditions, he keeps 20% of his monthly salary with Pension fund management company who lends his money to people as loan. They loan you someone else pension, when time comes to pay back you decline giving reasons, Pension fund management are unable to pay the Pensioners gratuity and he suffers heart attack and dies What. In you own opinion is the punishment of the greedy loan defualter ? |

Mooh247:They don't give some people warning, they just start embarrassing them with death threat and character defamation. Are u a worker in those company? |
| Re: Petition To Ban Unscrupulous Loan Apps In Nigeria by Mooh247: 9:14pm On Feb 12, 2022 |
youngsahito:No am not their worker... Am just someone who had resided in the country where honest people enjoy loan facility to grow their life, like student loan, car loan and mortgage... Even contract phones. Why can't Nigerians also enjoy this because of some greedy people who would collect loans without reading the agreement they signed . |

Mooh247:you are right meanwhile, they will also have defaulters over there whereby they won't be threaten with death or sending illicit messages to their family. I won't blame the loan company but let them follow due process in collecting their money rather than destroying their image. |

Alabihaskillus:It's really amazing how we make jokes of serious matters. If I play bet, no be ur papa money na. People like you who hide behind faceless platforms and pass judgement from your own foolish point if view are the worst. Wait till it happens to someone close to you. Then you can tell him or her that he borrowed fund to play bet. Till then, I di not owe your father any explanation as to why I'm doing this. If you no wan support, move on |

Guys, it takes less than 2 mi mutes to sign the petition. Like I said, these apps are not out there to make the life of Nigerians better, they are just there to exploit weak Nigerians and take even more from the poor. No middle class Nigerian will take a loan at 30% per week. To put things I perspective, commercial banks charge an interest of 25% maximum per year, the worst of most microfinance banks charge 10% per month and that is on a reducing balance, so it's not even up to 120% per year. these apps charge over 1,400% in a year and loan tenor is never more than 7 days. It's a trap to lure poor Nigerians and trap dem in a debt loop. Signing the petition will not take two minutes |

Alabihaskillus:Lol the nigga's moniker gave him out. Bet9ja do am strong thing, him go loan apps. Those ones do am strong thing, him come here dey wail. Find work, learn trade, them no go gree. |

Neddstark:Lol, its really amazing how people think that they understand your whole life because of a small detail. The truth is that I have nothing to proof to you or anyone but for what it's worth, yes I used to gamble and I played virtually all games on bet9ja... and ofcourse I lost money, gained money and still lost... this was my life two years ago and I can beat my chest that I haven't gambled in 2 years... but at least I own my own truth, made my mistakes and learnt from it... So, go ahead, laugh at me and have a fun filled day laughing because you think you are an Oracle who understands why I'm doing this It doesn't change the fact that this problem is real and closer to us that you think The problem we have in this country is that we dont take actions on any kind of problem until it spirals out of control... until suicide starts to trend because a loan app decides to ruin people's lives with law breaking methods of recovery... but because it hasn't happened to anyone around you, you think my own gambling problem is what is wrong with this whole thing Mr Neddstark, enjoy the best of your life laughing at me, I hope it's worth it |
