Hello great people. I bought a Toyota sienna 2005 4 months ago. Direct tokumbo. A mechanic is advicing that I remove the thermostat. That it is basically for countries will cooler weather. Should I? Thanks |

Terry1:Do Dubai people from hot desert remove theirs? I still have my own working in the car that I bought about 4 yrs ago even after so much pressure from quack mechanics. One successfully removed it when I was faced with overheating issue but thanks to Mosbus who restored it back and resolved the real cause of the overheating. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Removing the thermostat will cause the 'check engine' light to come on...since you dont have any issues with the car yet as pertaining to overheating, just drive on and enjoy your ride. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Don't remove it.. I have a car I bought 2015, mechanics keep asking me to remove it. I still drive it till date, works perfectly with the thermostat 1 Like |
