From experience, if you're living in New site, where there's regular building construction work is, when buying it, it good you also buy truck for moving it, cos you don't expect whoever that's renting it to also come with a truck. My advice is if you as a person is into building it's very good.

If u must buy the mixer buy the one that can take two bags of cement, it's better if u are a casting contractor were u collect contracts to cast deckings etc. It's not really lucrative as u think but if u get a good location then it might be worth it. Do not buy china made , they don't last. The mixer u posted is too small for rentals

Well it a good business here in lagos back then when i use to operate one by myself (i vividly remembered how those machine owners normally chase me around with calls requesting for my service). The thing is if you dont get a good operator; forget it my brother cuz the machine is a goner. NB. With that capital (500k) you can triple your money in december with cocoa business

no, you didn't get the gist. My uncle owes the mixer and he has a foreman, an engineer, that works for him. In one of the periods they were out of job, I got another engineer that needed a mixer in his site. I linked up my uncle's foreman. He took the mixer to the site and they agreed for 15k per day. He didn't inform my uncle and he didn't give me a cut for the deal. Somehow, my uncle got to know and he said I was the one that ordered for it. When my uncle called, I denied my involvement and said I just linked the foreman to the job. My uncle took his mixer back. The guy only got paid for three days, and the deal was to last for close to two weeks. If I had told my uncle I was the one that took it, that mixer would have fetched us good money. He wanted to be greedy and I left him to his fate.

Well, that's by the way. But if you have a mixer and you get constant job, it will fetch you very good money

instead of somebody to travel to city to hire one for building project in town/village,they'll patronise u rather than go far to hire one. And by so doing,u are helping unskilled workers/labourers to earn their small living

I’m a Resident Architect with lots of site experience.
It’s has decent return but your operator must be someone that can fix the machine when malfunctioning occurs otherwise people might end up swearing for you and your machine.

Also, the business doesn’t come often unless you are into concrete placement business for quite a long time.
