WibusJaga: What does good mean with regards to this case? Would it mean sending the suspects to jail? While bullying is bad, irresponsibility is worse. The parents failed that boy. The school could only do so much. They put a call to the parents, but they failed to show up on time. And when eventually they did, they did not treat the issue as an emergency. They should take all of the blame because their negligence (and not the bullying) caused the death of the boy. 3 Likes |

WibusJaga:Oga the parents did not take proper care of the boy when he was sick but rushed to social media to play on peoples sentiments when he died. When they picked him up from school where they any signs of torture? Why did they not show that? Why did not raise alarm immediately then? The truth is the parents were negligent. Its very unlikely he was beaten up like they put it but they just want to blame someone and not their own negligence 4 Likes |

Aboguede: I have previously emphasized on this Issue, There Is high probability he Is an Occultist which consist of Dowen's heavy weight. Most things that happens In life either Spiritually Or Physically are not always coincidence. It's possible that's his own seasonal sacrificial lamb which he would have been Informed prior. Ever since I got to a certain stage In life, I don't usually believe 90% of what comes out of peoples mouth. Humans are filled with deception and manipulation and some are perfectly good at It more than others..... 1 Like 1 Share |

rex21: Wise man my ass. My friend there is something VERY STRANGE INDEED about this case. Only a simpleton will refuse to see that. See Falana interview below. Google the symptoms of sepsis. Did sepsis cause the lips below?? Did sepsis give Sly's father names of those students whom he said Sly mentioned. Was it sepsis that said no football was played durring that period. Was it sepsis that performed the first autopsy? Was sepsis the students that said they tried to inform school authorities that the boy was beaten? Was it sepsis that hired Falana to get justice (strange act for a guilty person!). Too many things being heaped on this poor SEPSIS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VghJx917S70

When I was a child, often times when I get injured by my classmates and I hide the injury, within a few days, it starts getting a foul odour and green fluid coming out. Now that I know better, I'm glad that I didn't die of sepsis or something. In cases where my dad is aware of my injury, I get dressed with iodine or go to the hospital immediately depending on how severe it is. Why will you keep an injured child at home in the first place? if you can afford Dowen college, then you can afford any hospital or medical specialist or even an emergency flight abroad. 2 Likes 1 Share |

In another clime, this man will chill in jail for gross deception, negligence and still pay the school, the accused students and their parents for damages and the emotional trauma he made them go through all this while. Thank science for autopsy. 4 Likes |

sellers4buyers: I tell you. I remember hating my dad because he was always taking me to the hospital for injuries and burns. Now that I'm grown up, I understand that he knew he wasn't a doctor and he would never ever administer anti malaria or even cough syrup without a doctor's prescription. The best that he has ever done on his own is use Iodine to clean my bruises 5 Likes 1 Share |

Evolutionlove: Poor guy - typical Nigerian mentality. No common sense applied - everything is due to "occultic". See my post above. So he killed his son for occultic yet angrily gave media interviews and hired Falana to get justice. Strange act indeed for a guilty person - who would ave been eager to quickly sweep it under the rug! |

PoliteActivist:Falana is out for his money offcourse. Can you compare the boys pic with that of thieves given jungle justice? See how clear his eyes are compared to his lips? If the lips are peeling off as a result of beating dont you think his face should be swollen and his eyes red in some parts atleast? Do you really think a school for the rich would be so loose like in public school where anything goes that a kid would be beaten up so much without the authorities knowing or doing anything about it? He was probably bullied like in almost all boarding schools, but to be realistic its not the way the parents are painting it. See the way the connived with the first pathologist to give a false probable cause of death. 1 Like |

The father of Sylvester Oromoni killed the boy and should be prosecuted for the following offences: 1) Failing to take the child to the hospital on time. 2) Lying to the Police and the entire country that it was some other innocent kids that killed young Sylvester. 2 Likes |

If only the parents had focused on the life of that boy instead of on blaming the school, he might have still been alive. But it seems they were more concerned with what they presumed the school had done than saving his life. 4 Likes 1 Share |

PoliteActivist: The Father himself said yesterday that the boy had marks on his body when he was picked from school, all the pictures they posted was from when his condition worsened at home. The mistake the school made was not taking a picture of the boy when they handed him over to his relative . Falana should use the same energy in court, he is not representing the family well at all 1 Like |

HilcomTech: The Family and Falana ran a huge trial on social media now they are in court and cannot provide any evidence to all the claims they made on social media even even autopsy they planted on social media from Delta they couldn't use it in court, Falana didn't even want it mentioned. They never wanted justice just a social media mob against Dowen and the 5 boys 2 Likes |

Honestly, I do not see a father figure in this Mr. man. He seems so careless. I am sure his carelessness contributed to his son's death. Being a typical Nigerian politician, who knows, he himself may be on substance. See how his recklessness contributed to his son's death. As a dutiful and dedicated father, when your child makes a complain, you act quickly. Do not wait or continue in the "business as usual" mentality that he or she would be fine. There are always some unsaid needs and issues and it is your responsibility as a parents to figure it out from your kids. 3 Likes |

12rev: Some of you folks are so easy to deceive. That first autopsy was CORRECT! Infact it is the only autopsy that explains EVERYTHING! The boy died of chemical intoxication! He was fed a chemical, which is the only thing that can explain the lips. By the time of the second autopsy the chemical could have dissipated |

Eketem: The boy was force-fed a chemical - which explains the lips and which was what ultimately killed him (as stated by the first autopsy). The chemical could have dissipated by time of the second autopsy |

olaboy33: My wife told me I was insensitive when I told her that public opinion will never bring justice to the family. The mistake they did first, was not to take him to hospital in Lagos, pick his friends and question them cos whatever went on his friends would have known the true story and not public opinion. Well for me, the family should just drop the case and move on. If not they will be indicted due to their carelessness. This my humble opinion. This should be a lesson to everyone, not all information you get in public opinion are facts they are just speculation which I am sure the parents wanted to rely on to score cheap point 2 Likes |

PoliteActivist: The doctor who performed the first autopsy was part of the team of doctors that performed the second autopsy and he accepted he made errors in the first autopsy. He jumped to the conclusion of "blunt chest trauma in background of chemical intoxication" with no physical or chemical signs based on what he heard and not what he saw in his autopsy. Tell me why are they not relying on this your suppsedly correct autopsy at the inquest mr i too know? 3 Likes |

Where is the junkie Toto Dick(e) that was crucifying the school without hard facts? Honestly these Yeyebrities are just a pack of selfish, egoistic emptyheaded nuisance on public space. I don't blame them because their being dumb is not their faults but nature's,I blame the people that follow them on SM,it shows how shallow, lazy, jobless and ambitionless they too are. This generation's greatest curse is their lack of reasoning abilities. We are raising youths who can't think on their own but rather wait for Yeyebrities, SM and ignoramus influencers to think for them and dump the rubbish on their empty and barren skulls 3 Likes |

PoliteActivist: If the first autopsy was not fake why didn't the family present it as evidence at the Inquest? Are you even aware that the same Pathologist that did the Delta Autopsy has changed his report? I don't know what he and the family did initially to come up with that first report but when he saw the way facts were coming out he recanted and is trying to save his career because he will surely face disciplinary action by MDCN after this. If the accused family didn't have money to do an independent autopsy that fake one would have sent innocent boys to jail. You can find his updated report here. Nobody forced any chemical down his throat. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eIhC7-7FeUA5YT5wlSwzPSLg7mD3OLQd/view?usp=drivesdk |

PoliteActivist: This kind of ignorance leads to death of innocent children. That some children do not die from infections doesn't mean other will survive. The body is different "Severe sepsis is characterized by organ failure. You must have one or more of the following signs to be diagnosed with severe sepsis: difficulty breathing bluish discoloration of the skin, especially lips, fingers, toes chills due to a drop in body temperature decreased urination dizziness changes in mental ability extreme weakness (asthenia) low platelet count (thrombocytopenia) abnormal heart functions unconsciousness" |

If sepsis killed like that half of Nigerian villagers will be dead (they always have serious injuries, yet never go to hospital!). By the time of the second autopsy the chemical could have disipated. Probably no hospital could have saved him. |
