Hi, please how can I benefit from this?

Itstemi10:
Guys, I can volunteer to start contacting Nursing agencies. I only need to walk into their office and let them know my Sisters and brothers are willing to work. They are DESPERATELY short staffed in the UK and all agencies are looking for workers but the oyibos are not answering them because they get monetary benefits that pays more than full time Care job.

I will need to set up some sort of consultation on LinkedIn and can start meeting the Care and Nursing agencies soon ( Or even the NHS directly)
I believe they will ask for your application and forward their interest and pre employment letter to the home office too.
Good luck to all of you.
All the Indians and Polish will get it if we don't act fast.
If you want me to contact them please show your interests below.
Well-done guys.

Hello, Bola01234. The translation requirement doesn't apply to you if your documents are already in English. It only applies to those whose documents are in another language other than English. Cheers.cheesy

My sister, Aprokodaugther is right. All scenarios outlined are true. It's a rewarding job emotionally but it is very difficult (most times) and not easy. Most are doing it here because its abundant and for the ease of entrance into the profession.

I've never for once said it's not a difficult job and I also stated that most of are doing it for the benefits. But to imply that everyone doing it will go through what Aprokodaughter said is wrong. People are rude regardless of their race, clients are abusive regardless of location.

Thank you for this, I also contacted the IIGS man Mr Moses and he also promised to come here and explain all about it for us.

Also I went to my university today to meet with the dean faculty of medicine and I discussed with him, he told me that they just lunched the short course in healthcare and social worker related courses last week and prices will be fixed today if any of us is in Ibadan join me tomorrow at Lead City University lets make full enquirers together so we can have better understanding

He also said Medicine And Nursing as been accredited and they are given NVQ level 3 certificate out

Helo everyone!

I am the IIGS man smiley smiley smiley

I have read quite a bit of the discourse. Very rich discussions with lots of good information about the health care visa. Some are on point while others still need some explaining.

Our course, offered in partnership with Apex Learning, is an accredited and regulated course. It is one of the best out there but it is not the only one; there are similar others offered by different companies like ours and accredited by other awarding bodies. One thing that sets us apart, though, is that we are the cheapest and this is deliberate and not an indication of poor quality.

It will be rather impossible to address everyone’s concerns here at a go so we are organising a Zoom discussion session (details to be sent later) where you can ask any question about the healthcare worker visa processes; I understand the process to an extent and I am willing to share. Those interested in our course can also show up to know why it is cheaper than others or ask whatever questions they would like to ask. The information and explanation that many have shared here should be enough for anyone to have decided on which to go for. My own 2 kobo is - do not pay for the not so useful added extras and make sure the issued certificate will be accepted for what you want to use it for and you are good to go!

I really need to say a big thank you to @festacgirlie, @Baccus85, and others that have called. Thank you, guys! I will try to answer questions here too so feel free to ask.

Thank you all.

I never implied everyone going through the job will experience such.

BUT PREPARE PEOPLE'S MIND WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT. And I also further mentioned that some care come more CHALLENGES.

Some people don't expect these CHALLENGES. Saying you have never experienced doesn't mean others don't experienced it. Reason why I said Prepare their mind on what to expect.

But you made it about you which is totally wrong. I even gave instances of supporters getting upset because of what they are dealing with. You started calling me a liar and throwing insult.

Now you are talking. Tell these people you are telling to join. What they are going to expect and the sacrifice.

You can't say they are rude when they are facing challenges. Is this thing what most Nigerians don't get and start to get upset with the job.

Hope you get it now.

Good Evening Everyone,

Please I will like to ask if there is any HSC online course that is below 12months.

Also is it advisable that my husband should be the principal applicant?.... Is the adult care job favourable to women or men?

I just want to increase our chances in getting it right.

Thank you

I don’t know how to post on nairaland yet, but I am hoping you would see this.

So there are some Uk recognized online places you can do the Health care course. How fast you finish and take your assessment depends on you. It’s pretty easy . I attached a screenshot where I saw the lists. I only have experience with alisons which is first on the list. So goodluck

Hi everyone,
What happens if you already got a job and a CoS without an NVQ 3 certification, just some background working in a care home.
Does the issue of the certification come up with the Visa application?
Urgent response please...

Thanks

To be on the safe side, you can quickly to a diploma in any care course, you can do it online. There are some Uk recognized institutions where you can do them online. I did on alisons, I didn’t pay for the course but after the course you have to pay for the certificate. It took me one week to complete it.
I heard Florence academy is totally free. But I don’t know if they are Uk recognized. So just do any of them. Goodluck.
