While it's true aregbeshola was very loyal to his boss, I found his vituperations unfortunate. He has a problem with oyetola, but was attacking Tinubu because he recommended him, its fair, but he should have kept the fight where it is.
The problem I have seen in many of these SW states where he former governors have issues with present governors is many of them want to be godfathers,but don't really have what it takes. Aregbeshola did 8years as a commissioner, immediately went for another 8 years as governor, took a break , then his on as a minister for 4 years, making 20 years in public office. Is he the only one?
The man they all blame, did only 8 years as governor and vacated the seat, he has been supporting them ever since, spending resources to help them achieve their dream. I can't really write all that happened here, but the man should have calibrated his vituperations.
The same issue with amosun, was in house of reps, became governor, went to Senate, consecutively, is it only him, if they want to play godfather, leave public office, stay back and work for others but they don't have the gravitas and sense of justice, they will blame tinubu who left office 15 years ago.


Obanikoro did more than this, he is one of the people leading Tinubu's campaign today, he went to PDP, became Minister,but came back when he discovered there was no prospect on the other side, he came back for his family to be relevant. Femi Pedro did the same thing, he is back, ogunlewe is with him again too. the only person I haven't seen is mama Kofo, I think what she did was "extra injurious" and she might be too proud to come back. The man isn't without his fault, but you can't dispute his goodness and large heart. Out of all the governors' class of 99-07' how many are still active? How many has influence like him? How many has supported others, ensured they became something great afterwards, not only in Lagos but other state? Except ibori in Delta (only), none from that class made it this far.
It should tell you there is something about the guy. His mortal and has his faults, but he's a leader who nurtures other leaders. In politics or any other human endeavours, it's rare to have such type of people.


Aregbesola, if you feel Tinunbu imposed Oyetola on the state so what are you also trying to do by calling on people to vote for Adeoti? It's simply a case of a godfather trying to unseat another godfather.
Same Tinunbu made you a commissioner in Lagos for 8years, supported you for gov for 8yrs also & recommended you for ministerial position, why didn't you call all that imposition then? Why didnt you call him bad godfather then?

To be candid,I think Tinubu has done So much for these politicians and the truth of the matter is he doesn't deserve all these treatments from any politician.

To we masses,we are just being used for there selfish interest, why should I support Aregbesola because he is antagonizing his boss. The idea is that he has been recruited to whistle down the influence of Jagaban and here some of the people will be thinking Aregbe is fight for the masses and also fighting godfatherism whereas he too wants to be one.

Sadly I blame Tinubu, he is just too soft to be a Leader of SouthWest or a Godfather... Let Tinubu go and study the likes of Baba Akinloye, Penkelemes Adelabu, Sage Awolowo, Ladoke Akintola , even Olusegun Obasanjo and come back to handle situations properly

Same foolishness made Tinubu sell Yorubas to Ibo in Lagos for cheap likes and appreciation which Ibos still never gave him

read the tea leaves. the odds of Tinubu becoming president are shrinking by the day. If Tinubu isnt the candidate then it becomes more difficult to sell a SW presidency, after 8 yrs of OBJ and 8 yrs of Osinbajo.

In the history of Nigeria the front runners never become president, they usually knock themselves out and a compromise candidate that never made any fuss emerges....maybe that curse is about to strike again.

Aregbeshola work and legacy is on ground for everyone to see.. Rauf is the real father of modern Osun, He transform the state in term of social infrastructure Between 2010 and 2018, all those Debts and deficits are not in vain.
This one just came on board to clean the menace and manage the debts and deficits.. Oyetola tried on his part but he hasn't surpass what Rauf did in 8 years in term of infrastructure..
