I’ll say it depends on where you are going in Brazil and the number of days you’ll be staying, as well as the activities . For example, cost of flight is more if you are going to Rio de Janeiro than if you are going to São Paulo. But it is like between 450-550k. Accommodation too would depend on where you want to stay, as there are various types, ranging from hostels to hotel rooms, and air BnB accommodation.
You can check these stuffs out on the internet to find out what suits your budget.

I did it by myself with the info I got on this thread. just decided to try it out for fun. I didn’t even have to visit the embassy as I sent my documents via mail and had it delivered to me via mail.
You don’t really need an agent. If you want to use an agent, make sure he submits a genuine account statement, because the embassy will verify with your bank.

People in the house.. For someone putting to bed in August or September. When is the best time to apply and also since we are both going for tourism should the apply for June or May?

I'm concerned they would use the travelling time to delay issuing the VISA. Please advice.

Please house, what kind of visa would I pick, is it tourism?
And how long do you think I should input in the place they stated how long do you intend staying

Guy I think the embassy is calling people for interview a month before their travel date, applied this Feb got interview date for May cause travel date is in June

It might be best to put a travel date that is close sha, they are also issuing 1 year visas from what I have been told of late

Apply on time and don’t state a travel date that is far in the future.

You definitely need a tourist visa, even tho you have plans to go give birth there and you dont have to put in the application that you are going to give birth. Since you are applying for a tourist visa, it is ideal to put a shorter tourist time of about 3weeks/4weeks and you will have to put money into your account to show that you can take care of yourself for those weeks. When you state that you wanna stay for a very long time on a tourist visa then they can suspect somethings.

Likewise mine ooo. 13th December, 2021. Still under review. I guess short stays they quickly process within 21 days and if long, it takes time.
