NSE-Nigerian Student Express was a trick played on applicant that if you submit your documents and include an MBS-mybank statement certificate(to replace scanned bank statement) and IELTS result with at least 6.0 made on all bands, your application will be processed under the NBS category in 20days.

First few weeks, it worked but eventually 20days turned to 3months and gradually its back to the normal waiting time or the normal applicants with out either of those two docs.

As an international student, you are expected to have money for feeding, accomodation etc asides money for your tuition fees. Meaning that $10,000cad has to be in your account while the tuition can be with you or your sponsor.
Is 10,000Cad enough for a year. What's the equivalent in naira?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by sinorte: 1:21pm On Feb 17, 2022
Is it really a must that the funds for living expenses must be in applicant's account?

As in work in canada…

To answer your question I need you to understand that a study permit is issued to you for the purpose of study and not to work , hence it isn't a work permit.
You are only allowed to engage in part time work in Canada with your study permit after you have started classes . So if you arrive in Canada and after collecting your study permit you contact your college and defer your program for any reason best known to you, the law made it clear that you must inform IRCC , secondly your school can only defer your admission if you are inside Canada if your reason for deferring fall under certain conditions set out by IRCC. Conditions such as;
. You fell seriously sick when you arrived.
. You lost a very close family member .
. Pregnancy if you are a female.
. Due to closure of your school because of strike.
. Or if the school shifted the start date.
And it shouldn't last for more than 150 days before you start studies again and it is important to note that you are not allowed to work during this time. But if you intend to defer your study for more than 150days you would be required to leave Canada and wait for more than 6 months after you left Canada to be able to apply for a new study permit with a new LOA for you to start your studies again.
So you see in both cases you still won't be able to make a dime and rather you will only spend money and waste your time.
So your friend over there telling you he did it isn't being sincere with you and only wants you to involve yourself into some kind of illegality that will only land you into serious problems at the end.
Below is a link that explains everything.
Good luck.

Alot of schools in Canada do ask for Nigerian applicants to send a copy of WAEC result and WAEC scratch card( pin) to enable them in checking the WAEC result from the WAEC website to confirm if the result is authentic.

Send your WAEC result along with the ff:

1. Your WAEC registration no.
2. Year you wrote your WAEC.
3. School or private candidate, depending on the one you are.
4. WAEC scratch card PIN
5. Scratch card serial number

Good Day House. Today makes it exactly 7 weeks I submitted my application. Eligibility started 4 weeks ago, no medical request yet. Should I wait for medical request or go ahead with upfront medical?
