Willing to pay 30k/month. I am not based in Nigeria so lessons will be over Zoom. I would like to have two lessons of 2 hours each every week. My current level of proficiency is very basic. What I need:

-Someone who can read Yoruba fluently. I was able to get someone to buy a couple of Yoruba literature books for me from Nigeria. Right now I'm currently attempting to read "Mọrèmi Àjàsorò" by Debọ Awe. I know a couple of Yoruba words- reading through the first paragraph I sort of get the general idea of what is being said, but there are words I don't understand and it seems the àmì on some are not correct, because they aren't showing up in Yoruba/English dictionaries. So what I need from my teacher is someone who can listen to me read and correct my pronunciation, and also translate words I don't understand. You should also BE ABLE TO READ IN YORUBA.

-You should have internet access, and be able to buy the books I'm reading near you. I will provide an additional N5,000/month as running cost allowance. If you don't use it all in a month, try to keep it till the next month. The prices of these books are like N700-N1,000 and we will be reading (hopefully) one book every three months, so the allowance should be more than enough.

Please send me an email at formyotherstuff98@gmail.com if this is something you can do. My preferred times would be after 8pm PST, but those are details we can work out. Please send me a private email if this is a gig you're interested in. I will like this to be a long term thing so I'll chat with you a little and see if you're a good personality fit. If you're teaching Yoruba/are studying Yoruba in some capacity that'll make things even better.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
