Nobody owes him nothing, not Kanu, not anyone. They were all paid for their services both on the national and club sides, so how he spent his money that took him to where he is today is his sole responsibility, and none of his former team mates should be berated for looking away.

I expected you to be wise and make your comments with caution. Next time ask questions, biko. You dont know absolutely nothing about Kingsley Obiekwu, the Asaba born former Rangers center back.

Anyway, Ahmed Musa just sent 2 million to him and help is pouring in from everywhere.

Have a good day.

Did they say anybody hold him anything ?

I think you are a little bit harsh on this

How much did footballers even earn then ?

Obiekwu didn’t earn much playing and he retired at 30 ,I am sure Kanu will give him something no matter how little

You are sounding as if the guy or anyone is feeling entitled

So Gbolahan Salami is now playing in Iraq!
Iraq!

Is our leave so bad that we now have our players moving to Iraq, Bangladesh and all those countries who have no business with football?

I remember how Keshi used to invite this guy all the time back then..And he was quite good... Just that he had attitude problem..

It is well o ..

Benched Balogun?

Seems the people on here are not feeding us with the right information.

He was only deployed there because Balogun was injured and lacked match fitness.

Abi subzero047 what's the update about this Bassey benching Balogun?

I know you report about them very well most times.

Na wa for you ooo

The only time I take Komekn serious is when he is writing on NWAKALI case with Idenna

He does it so well every other time he writes just like he did up there... I just over look because there is no truth in what he wrote

You guys just like getting a response. It’s almost like if, people intentionally post that provoke others and enact reactions from forumers. In an all important game vs your arch rival, you think it’s wise to select an unproven inexperienced player and invite pressure on him?? We must select all our proven inform players vs Ghana and after the Ghana’s game, there will be chances to test other players. Too many meth and sniper drinking analysts on this platform

I need to add what I noticed watching Osimhen against Barcelona. The young hitman needs to change his playing style and adopt a different approach to the game. He takes a reactive kind of play, instead of a proactive one. Over and over again, Osimhen cut himself off from the team's play, expecting them to find him in space always. I get the manager wanted him to exploit the Highline of the Barcelona defense but, Barcelona had a plan of restricting the midfield from giving him service.

Osimhen (same with Iheanacho) needs to play in a different manner by going for the ball. If the team has the ball on the wing, they need to help build up plays through the wings which will draw opposing players to them and give room for them to exploit.

Dries Mertens replaced Osimhen and played it perfectly which lead to a chance. I expect Spaletti to work on that aspect of Osimhen and he can get more from the Nigerian hitman.

Below is a clip of Harry Kane doing this. Watch how many times he dropped deep, went to the wings to help build play.

Since the nations cup concluded, ekong hasn’t featured for his club side and is probably lacking “match fitness” nonetheless, I expect him to be invited for Ghana game considering that he is vice captain. If Eguavoen invites Ekong despite not playing since ANC concluded, I expect nwakali to also be invited. I was very impressed with nwakali cameo at the ANC and we’re lacking players with his skillset at the super eagles

There are at least 30 players of Nigeria origin in the UK who are better than him.

But Bassey has declared for us bro. Only stupid Rohr sat him on the bench two matches straight.

So also did Ademola and Ovie over three years ago.

See how long it's taken them to get Ademola Lookman change of allegiance.

Calvin was invited, that's what I mean. He was part of the squad before AFCON, but he was never substituted in.

See how long it's taken them to get Ademola Lookman change of allegiance.

However, the application suffered a long delay due to the player’s (Lookman) inability to sort out his Nigerian passport and his failure to provide a written request for a change of association in line with FIFA regulations.

But you've always told us that modern forwards play everywhere upfront both center forward and the wings.

Or is he an old school forward?

What's your point.

Andre "Dede" Ayew plays predominantly as an Winger both wings ( inverted) and has played as an SS. He has played as a number 9 once or twice for Swansea.

So because Aina has played a few times in midfield for different clubs we should call him a Midfielder?

Saka has played as a LB, AM, LW , Left side Midfield for Arsenal so what would you call him ?

Some exceptional players have the capacity to play multiple positions and be outstanding irrespective of the position they are playing.

I would class Andre in that very limited club.

It was Philosopher1979 I quoted not you... The topic was about how Osimhen was failing at beating FCB highline and not about skills, technical ability, touch e.t.c.

Osimhen and all our homegrown players have good skills, technical ability, touch
.

It was Iwobi's poor touch that made him get red card against Tunisia so where is your knowledge and sense in the what you're saying.

Every player can make an error, and one error does not define a player.

Osimhen is not technically better or astute and or had a better touch than Iwobi.

Within the current set of SE Iwobi is probably the most technically proficient player in the entire group. Tell me who is better than him please.

In that regard he is in a better league than Awaziem, Omeruo, Collins, and has already benched Balogun at his club.

So the matter is settled.

Bassey has to be in the team in the HERE and NOW.

No he hasn't, atleast make research before making a fool out of yourself

Nothing wrong in starting bassey

I might not use him for the playoff as a coach ,but I’d we eventually makes it to the World Cup ,I will give him enough time at those friendlies to see what he can offer ,if he impress he might just win a starting shirt
