Some parents are naturally careless. How can you loose guard to a stranger of just a month? My neighbor didn't allow her kids come closer to me or any other tenants around until two years of staying there. And this woman is a stark illiterate o. She can't even speak proper english or pidgin. Na hausa she dey frequent.

Poorverty make some of this mothers to be extremely careless. When I was a child, I deer not eat whatever some one give to me. As hey can't care of the children, they let them loose. The former occupant was called and said he'll send the number but didn't send it. Now their number is not going.

Greetings all.

3 Children in my house are missing today Fri 18.2.2022.

How it happened:
An exiting tenant of about 2 month handedover the room to another person (Two women: they should be in their 30's).
According to them (the women) they said they are student and came to Lagos to write an exam at ikeja so they just need a place to stay for 3weeks to 1 month.
They moved in without any load. (Just new bucket and broom)
They came very friendly and nice especially to the children.
On Friday evening they bought biscuits et el for the children. This was around 5:30-6pm.

Shortly after that they left with the 3 children. According to neighbor, the women said they want to go to bus stop to change a trouser they bought as it's not their size. That was when they left with the 3 children and didn't return till now.
Also on Thursday when they moved in with all the friendliness, promised some of the children that she'll take them to ShopRite tomorrow (Friday)
All effort to reach them have prove abortive as there's little or no information about the women.

Name of the children (3-5 yrs): 1 boy, 2 girls
1. Peter. 3yrs
2. Chiamaka
3. Miracle

A brief description of the women: one is chubby and the other is tall but not slim. They speak pidgin fluently and igbo. One of them claim to be from delta. They are both fair.

this is how they steal children now. I listened to one on breekete. The young lady moved into a new compound. She move in with one baby girl about 4-5 years and within 3 days, the neighbour's noticed the absence of the child. They asked about her and the young lady claiming to be her mom said she has returned her to her grandmother cos she doesn't feel comfortable there with her. Within some says, a tenant with 2 year old son left her son inside the room to go get some food in the evening time in a place not far from them, she came back and couldn't find her baby. It was what happened with the other girl she moved in with that gave the boys mother idea and they found out she was the one that kidnapped the woman's son. This happened in Abuja. This is how young girls operate in kidnapping children.

Their phone numbers can be tracked if they dropped any as at the time they rented the apartment.

If this will help, also check around your location for big stores or rich houses. Chances are that there may be CCTV and one of them might have caught faces while they walked by since they lived in your compound for sometime.

Too many careless parents in nigeria especially among the poor & the rich.

U leave ur kids for unknown people! Like neighbours & househelp etc..

Assuming it's in the USA, they will first arrest the parents for carelessness then wen the kids are found; they would b moved to foster care home.. making the so called parent to have zero access to the kids..

I'm sure this is not kidnapping for ransome because it is usually in a relatively poor neighbourhood that you see parents allowing their children to mingle freely with strangers. I hope they are found by the Grace of God

Its not an high-class area. To the best of my knowledge, there's one 1 house before mine that uses outdoor CCTV.

That was the problem, in a bid to get information from him someone has narrated the story to him while trying to get the women contact.
