Expired news.

Task force arrest for using inDriver is not for people like me. Am too street, rugged and Exposed for that Bullshiit. Nah drivers wey no know their right dem fit run that kind thing. For your information it's illegal and unlawful for TASK FORCE to arrest any driver for using inDriver.

There must be an Order from above, Lagos State Government has to come out publicly to announce the BAN of inDriver and order task force to arrest people that use it before it can be considered legal.

Don't let any police man carryout illegal arrest on you and make easy money off you. This is Lasgidi u to have stay awake every goddam time. No sleeping! No dulling!

Who has tried the recent freedom to choose trips according to Bolt?
Cos if it's d Bolt I know, i strongly doubt it, cos what's now the purpose of the acceptance rate column?

I’ve tried it and yes, not accepting trips doesn’t reduce the driver score anymore but at the same time, always balance your activity score cos you can be blocked for that as well.

But I must say, this is a welcome development and I will still confirm again once I’m done with this trip.

To me it's still bullshit and senseless. If you refuse a trip, your activity /acceptance rate still drops, so who is fooling who?

Nothing will be done about it except a different person is in power. It is that bad.
Gentlelife50:
Daniel Ikechukwu Maduabuchi writes on Lastma and this is very indicting. .
.

1 & 2 are Very True

LASTMA and LASG Taskforce are the Biggest Extortionists you Can Imagine.

If you Visit LASTMA Yards at Sura Lagos Island & Oshodi you'll Understand.

When I went to get my Lagos State Driver's License from their Office at Oshodi,
I Saw Officials Sharing Monies Openly,
Some Wanted to Fight, Claiming Some People were Hiding Monies,
The Monies were Wrapped in Rubber Bands & Brought in Poly Bags,
They Shared and Everyone of them there got at Least N15k each.

Another Day I was their Office in Oshodi,
A Female Officer Drove in a New Toyota Venza,
They were Hailing & Congratulating her.
One Baba Said She's Serious & Hardworking.

He Said her Team Gets at Least 20 Vehicles Daily.

I Offered to Lift that Baba,
I Drove him Home,
We got Talking & he Told me Sanwo-Olu "Put Food" in their Mouths,
He Said Ambode Removed Food from their Tables.
He Said it Costs between N1.3m & N2m getting into LASTMA,
And if One is "Serious & Hardworking" you'll get Double that Amount in One Year,

He Said all of them do Daily Contribution (Ajoo)
Hardly does any Officer do Ajoo of Less than N10k Daily,
All from People's Sweat oh.

He Said Every Unit has Target of Vehicles to Catch Daily,
The Minimum is 30 Vehicles Per Day.

Apple Junction, Amuwo Odofin has Target of 40 Vehicles Daily,
Iponri has 50,
From Lekki Phase 1 to Ajah has 150,
From Berger to Iyana Oworo has 150,
From Iyana Oworo to Oshodi has 100,
From Ikorodu to Ojota has 100,
From Oshodi to Mile 2 has 50,
From Oshodi to Iyana Ipaja has 50.

Costain, CMS, Bolade & Under Bridge Oshodi, Awolowo Way Ikeja, Obalende,
Ozumba Mbadiwe Ave are the Slaughter Houses.

The Level of Extortion in Lagos is Disheartening,
It is Sad that we have a Governor Overseeing this.
Me.
This is very indicting I think at dis juncture the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation Toyin Fayinka and @ GM LASTMA. need to look heavily into this.

I hope Gov. Sanwoolu will read this and do the needful.

@⁨+234 802 224 2928⁩ Lagos is our gateway and very key. The gov must act.

Copied!

For people who prefer good trips to chasing bonus, I think the activity score can be managed. Just balance it once your “you didn’t confirm” is getting too high.

Nigerian airlines have increased the cost of economy flight tickets for domestic routes from about N35,000 to a base fare of N50,000.

The airlines include Azman Air, Max Air, Ibom Air, Arik Air, Air Peace and Dana Air.

Checks by TheCable showed that most of the airlines have increased their base rate to N50,000 for Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Warri routes.

For instance, Azman Air and Max Air’s fares for Sunday is N50,000. Ibom Air’s fare is N53,000 while Arik Air, Air Peace and Dana Air fixed above N50,000 for an economy seat.

On the other hand, flights from Lagos to Port Harcourt are pegged at N50, 750 for United Nigeria, N50,000 for Air Peace and N50,250 for Arik Air.

Aero Contractors — which was previously around N30,000 — pegged its fare at N48,365 for Lagos to Abuja while Green Airways Africa — which had a base fare of N22,000 — is now about N33,000 for economy class.

Are you saying, if you don't accept trips, you won't be penalized,? cos it's not clearly stated there Then what do they mean by acceptance rate?

Thats d second one. If u dont accept a trip then only the Acceptance Rate goes down. And there is no apparent purnishment for that one.

Sanwo Olu don Vex grin. Over 500 GAC tear rubber mint cars for E-Taxi. If they succeed with this LAGRIDE. Bolt and Uber should expect
some government regulation and restriction soon.

I heard some of you guys saying Government can't compete with Uber/Bolt. Just an enforcement of one "Draconian law", they will take over and shut down the operation of competitors. Example is Opay, Gokada

But Lagos transportation sector is too big for Government alone to handle. Population is gigantic, 22,000,000 million people no be beans

I guess you are seeing clearly why I don't really fancy Bolt again. I've done 3k trips on Bolt, but they will just block drivers without any warning. Even mock drivers with wait for 10 years, not funny atall.

Saw the influx of Lagride this morning, my heart skip for a bit. On the second tot, the sky is big enough for all birds to fly. Using GAC cars for ehailing? The maintenance won't be here.

Opay n gokada were different, they didn't want bikes, moreover, that stunt had political undertones, if you know the backers of opay in Lag, you will understand.

The question is how much is that car? My guess, 5-7million. For a taxi? It's a wrong spec.

What fares do you think will be able to maintain this GAC cars? Definitely not Bolt or Uber fares.? So which of the Lagosians will pay more than what Uber or Bolt is charging, is it the politicians who already have fleets of cars.

These are brand new vehicles for crying out loud. Lagos has poor roads, and bad roads is a major factor in vehicles breaking down.

How many Lagosians can afford this kind of rides? You mean these ones too will take ₦600 trips. and ply alagbole, Oke odo, baruwa inside inside, Akute, igbo efon, Sango Ota..
. All the display on TMB is politics, nothing more.

They stand no competition, ehailing is a long haul. It's not by gra gra..... Will this cab take ₦600 from olaribiro street, Allen Avenue to ICM.

Do you know what it takes to maintain these cars Trust me, they don't stand a chance, policy or not. Brand new cars for taxi in a city like Lagos,..

Lagos State government no get sense and time will tell how senseless they are.
I will never order a cab with such branded name, make them come know say I dey order for cab when I board and alight? Me that I like coded and lowkey life, which I believe a lot of people also do.
Club guys/babes, Runs girls and Yahoo boys will rather opt for Uber/bolt than this their yeye lagride.
The failure already started with the branded name and uniformed color. Make them bring in millions of it, Uber/bolt/indriver go still beat them hands down.
The money danfo drivers are making and the number of passengers are 10x more than BRT, because where danfo go reach, BRT no fit go there.
Same will happen to the Lagride in this e-hailing race.
It's only going to fry the ass of Uber/bolt, etc to sit right and adjust their policy in order to keep drivers on their platform to avoid dying off the business.
Which driver wan go apply for government e-hailing rides self? I will like to know the category of people that probably would.
Let's wait and see. Time will tell.

I don't think people will really mind taking a branded cab and cab is also brand new and sleek. The main issue is can Lagos State sustain it? What happened to the likes of redcab and ekocab? They are saying the drivers will own the car after 5 years of a payment plan, how is the payment plan for this as well as the drivers take home income, what is the criteria for driving, how flexible is the contract? We still dey battle the e-hailing coys for the restraint they are giving us, how much control will drivers have on the lagride app? Then you now talk of maintenance, Abi them think say bolt, uber and the rest don't know why they don't provide the cars for drivers? Las Las na share them go share those cars.
