Rough idling, it goes off on motion or inside slow traffic, delayed response to acceleration and [b]delayed in shifting gear when engine is col[/b]d. This is my third year of owing the car so I am familiar with this symptoms

Huh! Hmmm... These are all the symptoms I get as well only that my doesn't delay in shifting gear when car is cold. This problem occurs mostly when my AC system is on with the MAF connected but I don't see any of the symptoms when either I disconnect the MAF with AC on or with MAF connected and AC off.

With MAF connected and AC turned off car performs optimally but tye moment I turn on the AC and car gets hot omo na wahala

98% of air mass of Benz are almost identical and what mechanics do is to buy one and fix it and that is where they make mistakes.... The air mass is fixed not according to fitting but product or parts number

Ensure that the one that you are fixing is the same with that particular model of Benz... You can't take an ML320 OR ML350 Air mass and out in C Class or A Class.. It will not work well

How can I improve these values, it's is estimated to be 17mpg within city, 25 mpg Highway and 20mpg combined.

Why am I getting 13.4mpg city driving??

What do I need do to improve these values or I shouldn't bother.?

Thanks for this enlightment but I've experience something some eeeks ago and midoda can bare witness to it.

I got a MAN filter which doesn't fit for my own car and when I reverted to him the seller he checked using the VIN of my car to get the right kind of filter for my car yet they VIN was still reporting back with the same MANN filter that didn't fit I'd to go get the right one that fit at ladipo and the moment I told them the name of my engine which M271 they brought the right one with much issue.

So in such a case now. What is my guarantee that buying any parts either online asking someone to buy for me by sharing my VIN the wrong part won't be delivered?

Even midoda was surprise himself he said he hasn't had such an experience b4

So to make it much simple should I just say I need so so and so part for a W203 M271? or I should use the part number written on the one removed? What if the part number as pilled off or can't be seen again?

These are my worries.

Is that 8mph I'm seeing there? I think the vehicle is doing really great. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The 17mpg city driving you're seeing was not achieved by driving 8mph

Nope. The ML350 2013 uses electric steering...it was not hard. Thanks it has already been fixed

Your tire pressure is low. Meet any folkanizer and tell him to check your pressure with their tool, check your fuel opener for the recommended psi.

When you see the battery sign it means your alternator is not charging( it might be bad or belt is cut).

Meanwhile try and clear those lights on the dash. I cant drive with a CEL ......my spirit will just be troubled.

I heard those octane boosters dont work but i am a fan of liqui moly injector cleaners and octane boosters. Once i saw a guy in an X6 at the fuel station and he had a carton of the liqui moly injector cleaner in his booth. Then Laolu told me a lady who never fuels without them(high end car) , the brother drove the car and failed to use them ,the result was catastrophic.

The technology inside those Audi/Volkswagen recent models are too complicated for our regular car mechanics here.

Its always good to make deep research before buying any product, not even only automobiles.

Even ordinary phone, if i want to buy, i always make inquiries upon numerous research before purchasing,so as to avoid, had i know.

Means alternator is not charging .... It will need replacement.... For that year and model of car. I advice getting a brand new alternator......
