If you like SPACE, POWER, EFFIZZY, AND LONG LASTING. go for the Avalon late 05 and above.
I also own 06 model and it’s the big thing if you can handle it well 30yrs you are good to go.
Don’t mind all these cyber bullies always fighting over small matter.
Ask how many of them owns any of those cars they are clamming to have good knowledge of

Toyota motor company builds a different gearbox for all Lexus brands. No Lexus shears transmission with any Toyota brand. Only improved engine are sheared among toyota and Lexus.

2008 avalon engine is 3.5 litre, so does GS 2008 is 3.5litre and some GS uses lower version 4.3 LS V8 engine. 2004 Avalon is 3.0 liters same as GS 300 2006... except the I6 GS 300 2000-2004 model which was GS first generation like the Toyota Aristo.

I hope you are learning from this. Please be open minded when you are learning and don't call yourself a Car Guru when you are not.

Kai, I had a toyota aristo (2000 or so model) I bought 19 or so years ago. Twin turbo streight six.
I think the same wonderful engine in the Holy grail supra. It had glass like low profile alloys with spoiler on the trunk.
White in color with gray woodgrain dash and panels.
Lovely ride.
But police no gree me enjoy the car back then so I sold it. (more than I bought it after 2 years). grin

Nb: That car was a kitty magnet grin

Good to read about your experience, I drive a RDX 09 and RAV4 2012... Had to sell one of my cars and it was easy to pick my RAV4. I am now thinking of replacing with an MDX. Anyone that drives both cars will know that Toyota is just a joke..I wish it's not overhyped so much in naija.
