Themmiee21:First thing is to sort out your proof of funds, because you need to have this in place considering you would have to get statement of account to show this for 4 -6 months, then you need to start applying to schools, but take note of the programme start times and tuition payable as well refund policy and then start writing your Statement of purpose because this document would be what the VO will be using to judge your application After getting admission, then you start getting your documents together, then apply and start praying Wait for other contributions All the best |

Good day my wonder people.. thank you so so much for all you do . Please I need your help with regards student visa application . I just received unconditional letter of acceptance for MBA(Sept 2022) and I intend to apply mid March. I have a few questions and will be so glad if you can help me. I have a job that pays over 450k monthly and hubby earns almost a million monthly. We both work in great company (I work for the federal government while he works for a multinational) I just paid the 1k non refundable fee and intend to pay at least 75% of the school fees before I apply. I also have a business that has a yearly turnover of over 40m. . I have 3 kids ( 2 of which are American citizens) and have a great travel history 1. My question is .. should I apply alone or should I apply with my family 2. Should it be self sponsor or hubby and I should both sponsor together or just have hubby sponsor me 3. My mum is still in Nigeria, hubby’s parents are also in Nigeria , my business will definitely run even when I am not in the country(. Hubby has landed properties, his other business aswell (which I am a major shareholder, I have my pension , and can secure a study leave from my work) is this enough to serve as proof of ties or would you advise otherwise. 4. I applied for the express entry previously but my profile has expired in December 2022 will that be an issue with this current student visa application? Thank you so much I will really appreciate your response, |

Hi aamey15, I replied you earlier, but I am reposting if you missed it. 1. It is preferable to apply alone first and apply for family later. 2. You can submit your statement alone if that covers the required funds. If not, you can submit your statement and hubby's 3. Yes, you got adequate home ties. 4. No, it won't be an issue. Moreover, an EE profile is not the same as EE application. **You might be aware that you won't need visitor visa application for your two children who are US citizens. And if they will require study permits, you can apply for them at the port of entry. Best of luck! aamey15: |

1. It is always better to apply alone so that you can use your family as a home tie, but the downside is that spousal open work permit processing time takes time. If you can afford to wait for some time before your spouse joins you with sowp, then apply alone. If not, you can apply with your family as you seem to have sufficient ties in Nigeria besides your close family. Also, since your two kids are US citizens, they don’t need a visa. Instead, they will be issued a visitor record at the port of entry. 2. Both. Let your spouse be the co-sponsor to lessen the amount of funds you need to show. 3. Yes, they are good ties. Also, a letter from any organization you belong to can be used as a tie. 4. It will not. An Express Entry profile is not an application for permanent residence. aamey15: |

Most schools require just a tuition deposit. It could be $750, $1000, $1500 or $2000. chigora: |

Why are you regretting ? Where are you rushing to ? I’m one of the New Portal tester but I have my reason for using Old. There’s no late comer. Jan applicant on old portal got PPR recently. So what’s your rush? Just keep the faith. I am keeping it too… KellyKk: |

You need to make an appearance at the bank's head office. The customer care desk should be able to direct you to the right person that would look into your case. gentleluv: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by sinorte: 7:23pm On Feb 21, 2022 |
It's a choice to start over or not, but I wouldn't advise that you open a new request. I'll rather suggest you fund the account adequately and follow up with a visit to the bank. Please note that unless you have so much money in your account, you may not be able to move funds from your account until your account has been fully debited for the Form A transaction. The reason is because you may not really be able to pre-determine when the bank would want to debit your account and complete the transaction, and you wouldn't want your account to be met unfunded of course. pean06: |

Anon123:I think the person should confirm if the letter was issued by his employer, I am sure they would have tried to confirm the letter from the workplace before declaring it fake, so let him confirm if IRCC has written to his employers, if they did, did the HR confirm the letter if they did not, then he can write a detailed LOE with another letter from the HR confirming the first letter. |
