Good Afternoon all....

Below are my details or info as i would appreciate the wonderful guide of @all gurus in here on how and what to do.

I am 30yrs of age with 2 kids, had HND Upper division in the year 2014 and OND, Distinction in the year 2010. Business administration and Mgt studies/ Business Studies respectively.
I currently work as administrative assistant and earn a little below a 100k monthly. I had a Boss that resigned about 3 yrs ago to be with her husband in Canada who in conjunction with her husband encouraged and promised to assist with the process and probably financially too.

PLEASE I would appreciate honest info or guide from experts on a cheaper college for Graduate certificate programme in administrative field in the Ontario province and necessary steps and guide as i am not buoyant to hire an agent nor loose any capital to the thieves among them.

I look fwd to your kind responses all as i hope to bring my good news here too.

GOD BLESS US!!!

First thing is to sort out your proof of funds, because you need to have this in place considering you would have to get statement of account to show this for 4 -6 months, then you need to start applying to schools, but take note of the programme start times and tuition payable as well refund policy and then start writing your Statement of purpose because this document would be what the VO will be using to judge your application
After getting admission, then you start getting your documents together, then apply and start praying

Wait for other contributions

All the best

Hi Chigora, why don't you search the web first, then when you get results you can bring them here to ask specific questions on your result.

Good day my wonder people.. thank you so so much for all you do .

Please I need your help with regards student visa application . I just received unconditional letter of acceptance for MBA(Sept 2022) and I intend to apply mid March. I have a few questions and will be so glad if you can help me.
I have a job that pays over 450k monthly and hubby earns almost a million monthly. We both work in great company (I work for the federal government while he works for a multinational) I just paid the 1k non refundable fee and intend to pay at least 75% of the school fees before I apply. I also have a business that has a yearly turnover of over 40m. .
I have 3 kids ( 2 of which are American citizens) and have a great travel history
1. My question is .. should I apply alone or should I apply with my family
2. Should it be self sponsor or hubby and I should both sponsor together or just have hubby sponsor me
3. My mum is still in Nigeria, hubby’s parents are also in Nigeria , my business will definitely run even when I am not in the country(. Hubby has landed properties, his other business aswell (which I am a major shareholder, I have my pension , and can secure a study leave from my work) is this enough to serve as proof of ties or would you advise otherwise.
4. I applied for the express entry previously but my profile has expired in December 2022 will that be an issue with this current student visa application?

Thank you so much I will really appreciate your response,

Good Afternoon all....

To the gurus home here and in their dream destinations, i say a big welldone to u guys.

I have read series of thread here on NL especially on Study-work visa and I must say that the gurus have all done very wonderfully well and i pray that the Almighty will continue to be our shield guide in our quest for better life for us and most importantly for our future generation.

I have been following the thread for days now and am certainly learning one or two things required as the subject of the thread implies. I am planning and hoping on God for a successful Study-work visa application. Though I am currently at the bearest stage as i just applied for my transcript to be fwded to WES for evaluation.

Below are my details or info as i would appreciate the wonderful guide of @all gurus in here on how and what to do.

Hi aamey15,

I replied you earlier, but I am reposting if you missed it.

1. It is preferable to apply alone first and apply for family later.

2. You can submit your statement alone if that covers the required funds. If not, you can submit your statement and hubby's

3. Yes, you got adequate home ties.

4. No, it won't be an issue. Moreover, an EE profile is not the same as EE application.

**You might be aware that you won't need visitor visa application for your two children who are US citizens. And if they will require study permits, you can apply for them at the port of entry.

Best of luck!

LONG POST ALERT
This testimony is on behalf of my wife, who is a silent member of this forum and has been following this thread consistently since Part 19. The Canada journey started in 2019. We started with the EE route by doing WES and writing IELTS, but due to age, we couldn't gather the needed points. Getting PNP also became difficult. So, in 2021, we decided to focus fully on the study route. As such, my spouse and I devoted time to gathering knowledge from this thread. The biggest challenge we had was how to convince the VO on her choice of program (Master of Organizational Management) considering her career as an Auditor in the public service with previous degrees in Accounting( 1st) and Policy Analysis (MSc). She also had lump sum deposits into her account. However, we took another 3 months to systematically build her account as a self-sponsored applicant and also gave detailed explaination on every lump sum deposits in a separate LOE. So, after settling for Crandall (she got admission into many colleges) we eventually submitted her application (alongside a visitor visa application for my son.

TIMELINE
Application Submitted- 6th December, 2021
Biometric Completed - 8th December, 2021
Biometric confirmed - 9th December, 2021

Upfront Medical Passed - 15th February, 2022
Eligibility Started - 17th February, 2022
BVL - 21st February 2022
PPR- 21st February, 2022.

I started sending mails to ircc email addresses on 13th February, 2022, when her medical was not updated. I sent the mails like twice daily and got the generic response.

Upon her PPR, I noticed that my son's medical was updated to pass today and his eligibility review also started today. Hopefully, his PPR is dropping soon as well.

1. It is always better to apply alone so that you can use your family as a home tie, but the downside is that spousal open work permit processing time takes time. If you can afford to wait for some time before your spouse joins you with sowp, then apply alone. If not, you can apply with your family as you seem to have sufficient ties in Nigeria besides your close family. Also, since your two kids are US citizens, they don’t need a visa. Instead, they will be issued a visitor record at the port of entry.
2. Both. Let your spouse be the co-sponsor to lessen the amount of funds you need to show.
3. Yes, they are good ties. Also, a letter from any organization you belong to can be used as a tie.
4. It will not. An Express Entry profile is not an application for permanent residence.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by sinorte: 7:23pm On Feb 21, 2022
It's a choice to start over or not, but I wouldn't advise that you open a new request. I'll rather suggest you fund the account adequately and follow up with a visit to the bank.

Please note that unless you have so much money in your account, you may not be able to move funds from your account until your account has been fully debited for the Form A transaction. The reason is because you may not really be able to pre-determine when the bank would want to debit your account and complete the transaction, and you wouldn't want your account to be met unfunded of course.

I think the person should confirm if the letter was issued by his employer, I am sure they would have tried to confirm the letter from the workplace before declaring it fake, so let him confirm if IRCC has written to his employers, if they did, did the HR confirm the letter if they did not, then he can write a detailed LOE with another letter from the HR confirming the first letter.
