Anambra Businessman, Chief Gab Ofoma Shot and Killed On The Highway by abc115(op): 7:33pm On Feb 21, 2022

Gunmen have shot dead the Chairman/CEO, Ofoma Associates Limited, Chief Gab Ofoma.

It was gathered that the deceased, a native of Umunnealam, Umudim, Nnewi, was gunned down on Sunday after he visited his country home in Nnewi and was going back to his base in Port Harcourt.

The incident took place around the Ukpor-Lilu-Orsumoghu-Azia-Mbosi Road, which connects Anambra and Imo State, as his driver made a detour from the Onitsha-Owerri Highway en route Port Harcourt, due to the traffic jam on the highway.

An eyewitness said, “Chief Gab Ofoma, who had a chieftaincy of Ojemba Enwe Ilo Nnewi, was gunned down in cold blood on Sunday by those who kill for no reason. His crime probably was that he was riding in an SUV and looked like a ‘big man’.

“Many people have been murdered on that road by these people who kill anybody that is in a big car and looks like a big man. It has become a crime to ride a big car in the South-East, except you have a battalion of security operatives guarding you.

“During the Christmas/New Year mass return, the killings reduced but the killers seemed to have resumed afterwards.”

The late businessman was a senior estate surveyor and valuer and had an estate surveying firm with offices in Port Harcourt (headquarters), Nnewi, Abuja and Lagos, employing over 150 people.

There was a shootout between gunmen and security operatives,how were they able to conclude it was the gunmen that shot the man not the Nigerian security it can be anybody.
Meanwhile trust me on this Nigerian security recorded huge casualties for them not to post pictures .

Meanwhile I blame the outgoing Governor of Anambra state heavily for this killing. Someone who is not decisive in action is not fit to govern a state.

It is either he has a pact with these miscreants called ipobs or he is apologetic to their cause. These killings have been going on and on and on same axis but he feigns ignorance of the whole actions.

Does the lives of ndi anambra means nothing to him?

Under him anambra state has recorded many careless but avoidable killings if truly he is in charge and not an apologist.

That driver should be questioned unless the man directed driver to ply that route.

Onitsha-Owerri road is the actually route for those heading to PH and not that Ukpor Mbosi road bkus that route leads to Orlu in Imo State.

As for the traffic he should have known that soldiers are stationed around that ihiala axis that demands passengers to come down and pass their check point on foot b4 climbing back to moving vehicle.
