This is my first time to see PFL for fraudulent employment letter. Frequently heard in tourist visa application because many agent use the same letter to apply for thousands of persons.

Your best bet now is you ask the HR and any director(attach CAC document and identification as evidence of share capital ) to write a letter acknowledging the fact that the individual is employed by the company and often receive monthly salary. You will also have to produce history of PAYEE deduction from salary, Salary Account. If the individual can produce government issued Payee Tax certificate, it would be great.

I’ve worked with 3 companies and I just checked, None of my employment letters were stamped.

Something must be wrong somewhere.
Probably they called someone who claimed He or She is Ghost.
Kindly investigate from the applicant vividly…
Then next step can be taken from there…
If Genuine truly, then a letter from the HR with proofs of payments from company and other available documents of company should solve.

Please can anyone that has used this new portal tell me the specific amount for proof of funds for study visa? Apart from the part payment school fees already paid and documents of landed properties etc.

First thing is to sort out your proof of funds, because you need to have this in place considering you would have to get statement of account to show this for 4 -6 months, then you need to start applying to schools, but take note of the programme start times and tuition payable as well refund policy and then start writing your Statement of purpose because this document would be what the VO will be using to judge your application
After getting admission, then you start getting your documents together, then apply and start praying

Good news guys, my PPR just came in at 7:46am this morning. It can only be God, I am still in shock. My story is a special one, my Bachelors is Law, I have an LLB, BL (Law School), and Masters in International Business, but I applied for Diploma, not even Post Graduate Diploma, but Diploma in Digital Business Management. I wasn't even aware of this forum when I applied in September, I just followed a YouTuber (Noel Abingwa) and learnt the steps and documents needed when applying for my visa through one of his Videos. I contacted him and he was kind enough to share his statement of purpose/ letter of explanation with me. As I started getting anxious, I decided to join this forum 30th December and it was so encouraging because I kept getting alot of support, more especially from @Makano.

I got this message below from Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's Office, on the 18th of February 2022

IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing

Thank you for answering my questions, more especially in the past two days after the message I got above.

@Makano encouraged me that "If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them"

Ask if truly the person submitted a fake employment letter or not..

I just reponded to a similar PFL from an applicant some minutes ago, and he confirmed he submitted a fake employment letter and I told point blank that there is nothing I can do, cos I do not involve myself in fake documentations, and possibly nothing can be done since he admitted it was fake he submitted..

So ask the applicant very well, if he didn't submit a fake Employement letter , then there is a way out..

Personally, I haven't used the new portal yet, I still make use of the GCkey for the applications I handle, and I get approvals steady...

Like I said in my earliest posts as regards these portals , no one is better than the other.. Just use the one you most comfortable with..

I am very comfortable with the GCkey portal and I still use it till tomorrow , the new portal is also good cos we have also seen approvals here with the new portal..

LONG POST ALERT
This testimony is on behalf of my wife, who is a silent member of this forum and has been following this thread consistently since Part 19. The Canada journey started in 2019. We started with the EE route by doing WES and writing IELTS, but due to age, we couldn't gather the needed points. Getting PNP also became difficult. So, in 2021, we decided to focus fully on the study route. As such, my spouse and I devoted time to gathering knowledge from this thread. The biggest challenge we had was how to convince the VO on her choice of program (Master of Organizational Management) considering her career as an Auditor in the public service with previous degrees in Accounting( 1st) and Policy Analysis (MSc). She also had lump sum deposits into her account. However, we took another 3 months to systematically build her account as a self-sponsored applicant and also gave detailed explaination on every lump sum deposits in a separate LOE. So, after settling for Crandall (she got admission into many colleges) we eventually submitted her application (alongside a visitor visa application for my son.

TIMELINE
Application Submitted- 6th December, 2021
Biometric Completed - 8th December, 2021
Biometric confirmed - 9th December, 2021
Upfront Medicals - 3rd February, 2022
Upfront Medical Passed - 15th February, 2022
Eligibility Started - 17th February, 2022
BVL - 21st February 2022
PPR- 21st February, 2022.

I started sending mails to ircc email addresses on 13th February, 2022, when her medical was not updated. I sent the mails like twice daily and got the generic response.

Upon her PPR, I noticed that my son's medical was updated to pass today and his eligibility review also started today. Hopefully, his PPR is dropping soon as well.

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
(1) SOP 7 pages. (written by me. It took me over a month. I had to edit over and over)
(2) LOA (one year Master of Organizational Management at Crandall University, New Brunswick)
(3) Full tuition payment receipt
(4) First Degree and MSC results and Transcripts
(5) IELTS results
(6) 4 months Pay slips for both of us
(7) Company documents with Tax Clearance (we both run the company)
( Notarized letter of support from me
(9) Her personal and family travel history to US, UK,
(10) Landed properties
(11) regular bank statement (6 months)
(12) Marriage certificate

(14) promotion and employment letters for both of us

Maybe he scan do affidavit, this time in court with the commissioner for oaths . He should enter court not the road side own this time. They will charge him #1,000

It's a choice to start over or not, but I wouldn't advise that you open a new request. I'll rather suggest you fund the account adequately and follow up with a visit to the bank.

Please note that unless you have so much money in your account, you may not be able to move funds from your account until your account has been fully debited for the Form A transaction. The reason is because you may not really be able to pre-determine when the bank would want to debit your account and complete the transaction, and you wouldn't want your account to be met unfunded of course.

I'm also applying to UCW (MBA). Below is the POF I'm targeting:

Living Costs 1yr 10,000CAD (N3.3mm)

I have 2 options of funding.

The 1st and preferable is to be my own sponsor, but with receipt of bulk of the funds as lumpsum into my account from a non-relative. I might not have enough time to allow 4 months before applying for visa. What documents would I require to explain the lump sum.

My 2nd option is to use a sponsor, who is not related to me. Is this possible?
The sponsor lives and runs his company in the UK. What documents would I require of him to provide?

LONGGGGGG POST ALERT!!!

Guys I really do not know where to start from!
I'm short of words. God's just too good to fail.
I'm still in shock cause I can't really fathom why my application was this quick or why I was just favoured, but I give God all the glory! For he alone is to be praised!

I've been following this thread for about 4yrs now. Just observing with no plans to submit my application. Was just here for the information basically, and to read people's process (which I enjoyed doing) didn't even know I'd eventually apply.

Time came for me to apply, I was scared to the Bone! I was scared to doing it myself! My sponsor (brother) literally begged me to look for an Agent to handle my application, I was skeptical at first, but I succumbed cause I didn't want any issue or stories that touch.

I contacted an agent on this platform, he charged me 150K for admission and 250K for Visa. My sponsor agreed to pay for the first stage (admission). Las las I eventually paid 190K for only admission!!! Only school admission ohhh!!!

Then it was time for Visa Application, and I was told Visa Fee has increased to 300K. And I was like hell No!!! I no go school? Am I daft? No! I can do this shi# myself. 300K no be 300 naira.

That's how it began, took a leap of faith and decided to do and handle my Visa Process myself, and God blessed me with the GOLDEN Mail (PPR)! Guys please do this stuff yourself!

Note : my gcsmnotes I ordered stated insufficient proof of third party sponsorship . I came to nairaland to ask for what I should do . I was asked to act fast on it because it is very close to a refusal but God doesn’t fail. Nairaland gurus told me to fire back using email and webform this thing actually works most important the general webform which make you know that they have received your enquiry.
*Letter of explanation explaining the relationship between I and my sponsor why he would what to sponsor me .
*I stated that his children are grownups and successfully established in their careers so he doesn’t have major financial responsibility towards them
*birth certificate of my grand uncle and my grandma,
*family tree,
*old pictures of my grand uncle and grand ma ,
*recent pictures of my grand uncle and I on my Graduation day
*Receipt of my full year tuition fees,
*stating that GIC account will be created for me once my visa is approved
Also, all glory and honour to God that made this possible because this application is far from perfect . “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”

With prayer and fasting the application was approved. Also , trust God while waiting because I was so discouraged when I come to nairaland and I see most application with uncle sponsorship are not approved even those with same surnames talk less of me that it is grand uncle with different surname from mine.
I told God that I want my application to be different with this grand uncle sponsorship. I want to give a testimony of grand uncle sponsorship because what’s impossible with man is possible with God.
Also, while waiting try to distract yourself from thinking of it because it really affects one’s mental especially. The waiting period is not easy but it will be easier if you have faith in God . I joined NLP by pastor b which made me closer to God and speak to God about my application.
In the mighty the name of God , those that are planning to submit their application and people waiting for a decision to be made on their application they will get a positive decision very soon in Jesus name because mark 11:24 “That what ever you ask in prayers believe you have receive it and it is yours”Also ,remember “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And you do not need to drop the whole 48 pages, just drop the notes of the Visa officer that handled your application.. This can be found at the last part of your GCMS notes..

Hi house, is there anybody who has gotten admission into a graduate program in memorial university of newfoundland or who is a current graduate student in the university? I want to apply to the school for winter intake, but I need guidance on documents required. On the admission requirements portal, I was told to upload official transcript, but my school here only send official transcript through courier, same as proof of English proficiency. Please someone should kindly enlighten me about it, thanks.
