gaby: This is the lie we have come to believe that government have no business doing business. We can't continue on this path. Government can run profitable business and it has been done in different parts of the world and including Nigeria. It was the politicians that started this narrative and we bought the lie thereby giving them the go-ahead to sell our profitable businesses to their cronies. Since privatisation policy over 400 public companies have been sold but less than 10% are still operating till this day. Instead of joining the bandwagon of government have no business in business I believe we should start clamouring for leadership accountability 1 Like |

This is Lagos. Note the OP didn't talk of the remuneration yet saying it's slavery. You'd be surprised to see graduates taking up the offer. The 20% might just be a sieve |

dele1727: Bros do you have a conscience at all or did you sacrifice it on the altar of eye service? Can you honestly subject yourself or your loved one through this stringent condition? again maintenance is about engine oil change brake pad replacement etc. that cost is less than 5% of the cost of the vehicle and is that enough justification to enact this kind of condition in the name of empowerment? 1 Like |

OyeofIkoTuN: Bro have a conscience if truly you are into the business 25% collected from the driver plus 8k daily remmittance is pure BS adding up the 8k payments gives us 400% profit which is outrageous and wicked. Even Nigerian banks with their madness won't charge you this kind of interest. 25% of the rider's daily earnings is their revenue, if you deduct the insurance and the cost of servicing it is fair. Even at that do you know the stress the driver has to go through to get a realistic amount that will give him a substantial amount after the 25% is removed? 1 Like 1 Share |

The lesson I learned here is that: do not ever think or plan in naira. I pity mu.mu who always say that standard of living here is cheaper and bla bla bla. You should realize that it is far more expensive to live here than abroad. We are beginning to see reality since govt is removing incentives and subsidies gradually. Lol. One issue again is that Nigerians have seen used cars as their destiny. The same people will complain about mechanics. Lol. You buy a car today and the whole of your day you spend with a mechanic. To even think of a new car is like wishing them death. New cars are meant for who? See eh! Poverty is a bastard. This scheme has shown you all that our economy is bleeding. Now that we are trying to digitalize everything, we have no choice but to upgrade. Now, we can see. Lol... I am not justifying Lagos, but if you sit down with them, you will shut up when they analyze theirs. But I know they must chop too. That's normal. Lol. Which car will N1.8million buy now? Cos the guy is talking neatly. Lol. Who wants to loan you money for long? The idea is to recover it fast. Go and check out how people default in paying loans back. All the CBN loans, lol. But see Lagos knows how to handle people very well. See I don't blame Lagos at all. If you aren't brutal, don't deal with Nigerians. Nigerians are merciless. So, it's why I don't even blame the loan apps for sending threatening messages to loan defaulters' contacts. Nigerians are brutal and you give it to them mercilessly. So, I have absolutely nothing to say here. Since most don't want to do business but are waiting for the government to do everything, good luck to them. Before you say anything...they will all come out to ask govt for everything. Meanwhile, govt needs to get out of doing business. Yet, people want govt to do it. On top, people are still giving birth like pigs. Each woman to 6 - 7 kids. Very senseless group of people. Imagine having 30 million in Lagos. Lol. Canada is 8524.6 times bigger than Lagos, yet, Canada is 38million and Lagos is over 30million too. See eh! Nigerians are the most useless individuals I have ever come across. Government is not our problem. The people are their problems. Look at the figures na. Canada is 8525 times bigger than Lagos, and Lagos is competing with it in terms of population. How will you have prosperity when it's sex and food in your heads. Mofos! Nigeria cannot get better. No matter who you have as the president, it will never get better. Not until we correct our foundational challenges. Why won't Lagos be dirty? Meanwhile, Lagos is where everyone is running to. And they build shanties everywhere. Lol. Madness everywhere. Our GDP is not bad. It is doing well, but there are too many people feeding on it. We are too many. Yet, we are giving birth like idiootaaasss. Mofos! Cursed are Nigerians. Mad set of people. We must speak to ourselves before it is too late. Buhari is not our problem. Tinubu is not our problem. We have gone through IBB, Abacha, and Abduldalami .....and we survived them. We survived those mad dogs in barracks. Are they our problems? Nope. They only took advantage of our weaknesses. Yet, we haven't realized this. We need to start castrating men after having a child. And we need to stop giving out passports and free facilities to any child born after the first. We must stop this. 1 child per family for every 10 years. So we can regulate it to 2 or max of 3 which are well spread. Japa if you can. The figures are not adding up you will make it in Nigeria. 1 Like |

obynzo:these percentage are high because we don't have a data base of literally every Individuals in Nigeria ,,,,that's why the fed govt find it difficult to track down any one who runs away ,fed govt can as well give the car out to high purchase but it will be hell difficult to track these individuals,I will advise federal government to involve foreigners in this program with cheap housing accomodations and I bet you they will grab this last last na we go still complain like south Africa people |

How do we verify the piece of info. Remember it is this country that some lunatics claim Buhari is El Sudan. I sell cars n you will get a Tokunbo Camry big daddy for the 1.8M he listed there. Which even without inspection will pass Uber check in flying colours. Your earn exactly same amount with the new cars so why will the government propose this against that except the new cars will be assigned specific job to earn more I do not believe the guy analysis untill I see those involve complain n yes they always will if it's a slave contract. naija4life247: |
