[quote author=Nyanmiridunce post=110477682]Because we can't see the seriousness in your so called leaving. I'm sure all the yeebos that went for Xmas came back even with their extended family. Does that show any seriousness? Nobody is jittery to lose a region with zero economic importance, we're just being irritated by how you're handling your Biafra agitation. It stinks! You are double mouthed. Typical of ur kind. If u believe in this ewedu stat, start a protest so we can leave. U hate us yet want us. We will continue to buy ur great grand fathers cemetery for housing while u do the math. Spits 1 Like |

This calls for sober reflection not jubilation in my own opinion.. the SW states receive so little yet generate so much in revenue while tiny regions like SE get ×5 of what states like Oyo get as allocation and yet still can't develop. So why are they collecting the allocations? where are the monies generated from SW entering in the SE and other parts of North?? This country is really drawing Yorubas back and we need to sit down and think.. nitori ojo ola awon omo wa. The North are the least contributors to the economy but they are everywhere in top key positions mismanaging resources and revenues generated from South. Isn't that incredible. 7 Likes |

Munamoqel: They don't leave their towns or what did you just say? Igbo see Lagos as the best destination for them unlike other tribes. In my area here, if one goes for New year celebrations, he /she may come to Lagos with another three unlike in South West. I have convinced my brothers and sisters to come to Lagos but many choose another state. Now, they are doing pretty well as much as I do. From my town alone, many have moved to Edo state to farm and come back home with fortunes. The same thing goes to people who are in Ivory Coast to ply their trades. So that mentality of Yoruba not traveling is a big lie. On the issue of Agbero, it is a common thing in metropolitan like Lagos. It just too advanced in Lagos because they are too empowered. Their origin of empowerment is traced back to when employment greeted Lagos and forced many of them into robbery. Street gates, empowerment of rogues like Agbero to divert their attention are parts of the measures to curb it. Now in Bariga, the area where I lived before in Lagos, if anyone steals and those area boys catch him, he might wake up in the world beyond in a spur of the moment. So, if you are tired of Agbero in Lagos, stay back in Umuahia or any state in South East. It's not by force to come to Lagos. If anyone should be lamenting, it should be Abokis who dominate Okada riding in Lagos and that Agbero deal with very soon. If Igbo leave Lagos today, we will have Lagos of our dream where congestion will be drastically reduced and standard of living is improved. 7 Likes |

cocolacec: No be lie my brother, if people stay at East and prosper, they will never think of moving to Lagos. Lagos is just like pilgrimage to Igbo. I have been to some states in East, nothing is working there. Not in entirety sa but don't use your prosperity in Lagos or elsewhere to judge who Igbo are. Many of them are wretched. I cannot even live there not to talk of doing business. The reason why you troup into Lagos is because no one stays home and prosper. Get live, develop your region before its too late. A time is coming when your wish might be granted, you will lose most then 5 Likes |

The unhealthy rivalry I see on this forum between south east and south west must not translate into reality. This country go just burn. On the flip side again, it brings liveliness to the forum. On a more serious note sha, I think it is not worth it anyway. |

Some comments here are borne out of ignorant or tribal bigotry. And it's very unfortunate that you can't educate someone with acute ethnic blindness. Lagos remains the one the biggest player in the national economy basically because of structural maladministration of an unproductive nation. Hegemonic economic policies from a clueless administration such as we have today will continue to favour a loopsided economy. Theoretical economic diversification that allows only a city host a country's major seaport and cargo airport would certainly product the above statistics. If you have no idea of a nation's structural economic functionality, why make fool of yourself? Anyway, I don't blame some of you. 2 Likes |

Dawn91:I have said it here countless times that Seun is promoting tribalism, religious supremacy and hatred with this forum. If this forum was owned by Igbo man, I strongly believe the yorubas will avoid it or better still counter it with their own version. I'm not Igbo but the deep hatred from the yorubas against the Igbo tribe in this forum is 1000% and supported by the owners of the forum. Is this how we're going to build a nation with hate and tribalism. Seun it's high time you correct this abnormality because social media has a way of influencing all of us. 2 Likes |

All your states are slums, compare the aerial view of your states with that of north and east. Does your states have better infastructures like good roads, water or hospitals than the east or north.? So how are they dragging you back? |
