According to an official NATO statement, the new status "does not prejudge any decisions on NATO membership." This happened but Putin did nothing because trump was in office then. Under Obama he took Crimea and nothing happened. Yet they say Trump is his puppet ?

A lot of people only pick the first item on search results which is already rigged and biased. Then they form a conclusion and display their ignorance here.

Biden is milking the Russian invasion to explain high gas prices.
Putin does not want Ukraine based NATO missiles and he knows Biden is a weak bonehead.

And therecently declared independent zones in Ukraine have had Russian troops for a couple of years.

What is happening right now in Ukraine is one of the reasons North Korea and iran won't stop building nukes.
The west pressured Ukraine into giving up its nuclear weapons in 1994 with assurance of being admitted into nato. Today Ukraine hasn't been admitted into nato, neither is it being defended by the west. Assuming Ukraine still had nukes, there's no way Russia would be playing games with ukraine.

South Korea, Japan,taiwan and other countries that are depending on the US should better start building their own nukes oh because if they're invaded they are on their own.

Invading Ukraine is needless and an overkill. But NATO (led by the U.S.) invading and destroying Libya was and is still a stain on its faux morality.

They armed militant terror groups in Benghazi, Libya; and those arms trickled into Northern Nigeria to bolster Boko Haram from a ragtag group to top 5 most dangerous terror groups in the world.

Even Obama admitted in 2016 that the way the U.S. handled Libya was the worst mistake of his administration.

A full-scale war with Russia is a major gamble for the American populace, would it unite the people against a common opponent or would is irrevocably damage an already fractured nation? Furthermore, let's not forget about China, an even bigger looming threat that would pounce on any opportunity to take Taiwan and control the semiconductor market. With America distracted, who's going to stop them?

Sanctions and humanitarian aid are the most strategic options as it stands right now. Save warfare for when it's absolutely necessary, like in the case of Taiwan. The EU is hamstrung because of their energy dependence on Russia, but that's what you get for dealing with the devil.
