Russia could make the prices insanely expensive or just simply cut supply to Europe, causing a massive economic problem for all of Europe. Russia wouldn't be the only one to suffer big economic problems.

75% natural gas, and 40% of all fuel Europe gets come from Russia. Price of products and services would shot up in the whole of Europe the moment they decide to take the sanctions seriously. As of now na month they still dey make.
Germany still paying Russia heaving via Nord stream 1.

Mind you nord stream 2 was only being halted, not canceled. Europe is no fool. They know they are not ready for a life post Russian gas and oil yet

multiply 2million barrels by 100dollars per barrel.put it side by side with the fact that Nigeria benchmark its budget on 50dollars per barrel and you will get the surplus. the big question is,what are they going to do with the excess money?.is it going to get looted the same way the 13.4billion USdollars was looted during the oil windfall that resulted from the iraq and iran war?.
