The Nukes weren't Ukraine's to give in the first place bro. Ukraine was just the location where majority of the Nukes owned by USSR were stationed. The Nukes belonged to Russia. When Ukraine wanted independence, they had to give up those nukes back to Russia , as part of the conditions of the independence.

It's just like Nigeria having most of its nuclear weapons stationed in Lagos. And one day Lagos decides that they want independence, you and I know that Nigeria won't allow Lagos to keep those weapons. They will be taken back from them as part of the conditions for letting Lagos go

This war is more than 14 years old, it's being on and off.
Unlike the previous ukranian presidency, they finally have a president willing to romance with the West and willing to join nato, a move Putin sees as a taboo because we all know what that means.
It means USA, UK, Germany all of them are eligible to build camps on ukranian borders.
For a world power, that is a NO NO NO

No country in the world who the US see as a treat have the guts to build camps in Mexico or Cuba, Haiti or Canada. It can never happen, so do you think Putin will fold his hands and watch the US build camps on it's borders, his best move is to invade Ukraine and take over the country.

Your analysis is not considering the technical implication of hijacking Ukraine.

Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary all shares border with Ukraine and they're all in NATO except Belarus. Hence, the fear you stated here is a complication of the situation and not a feasible solution because whichever way, NATO is still at the doorstep of Russia.

Nobody knows why Putin didn't give the other states who joined NATO such treatment.


As I speak with you, the Estonian PM is trembling because she feels her country is next and she is a NATO member, an EU member even.

So there's more to this than just NATO involvement because like it or not, Russia is surrounded, why is she (Russia)suddenly worried.

For Christ sake we are in 21st century. What history is Putin talking about? He wants to restore Soviet Union? How did invading Ukraine solve his insecurity problem. The world haven't come out completely from COVID-19 wahala caused by China, now Putin wants more misery in the world by attacking an independent country. I can't see the sense in this invasion other than someone trying to assert himself on his smaller neighbors.
