Nigerians living in Ukraine cried out through social media after Russia attacked Ukrainian cities early on Thursday morning.
They claimed the Nigerian embassy in Ukraine had earlier given them assurances to be calm that nothing was going to happen.

On the contrary, they started hearing explosions and gunshots today and they no longer feel safe.

They were able to make it to the train station but they are now stranded as many people are attempting to leave the city at once.
Dan Borno....
U said Nigerians but I saw only two people. Where are the others

The black man makes excuses for his own failures while the white man learns from it. Someone in foreign land should always be vigilant, if you don't have the resources to study abroad why embark on such a journey? Russia invading Ukraine is not a shocker, it was expected for several weeks now.

Let me ask you a simple question, if a powerful foreign country threatened to invade Nigeria and you had at least 2-3 weeks notice, would you stay in 9ja or would you jaapa to a neighboring country knowing fully well Nigeria's government cannot protect you?
Which country you want to japa to when your green passport piss off people of most countries? I can bet it, not until serious fight begins Nigerians and to some extent Africans trapped over there will not be allowed easy passage to the West.

You have to be there to understand what it is.

In War, you are not limited to flights, people cross the border all the time, Belarus, Moldova, Belarus are all viable countries, when death is knocking, you don't open the door and say, "WELCOME SIR"!

grin Naija embassy told them to remain calm, law abiding and to report any suspicious behavior. They were also urged to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation as the perpetrators will soon be brought to book.
Typical Nigerian lies have been exported to Ukraine.

They should carry guns and join Ukrainian soldiers to defend their cities. It's as simple as that since they didn't have common sense to leave the country as soon as they saw Russian tanks in Ukraine border since last week. They were banking on Nigerian embassy's assurance, what a stupid people.
Its not cheap to purchase a one way ticket from ukraine to nigeria. One needs to prepare for it. Most Nigerians living in ukraine are student and there are few or no jobs there for foreign students. I always believe all this wars from white people are stage managed. That was the reason the pentagon could for see it. Anyways, Almighty God is the best of planners and the mischievous minds won't last. May God protect our brother's there. Amin

As tensed as the situation of Ukraine is now if Nigerians see free visa to the country they'll still go.
Re: We Are Stranded - Nigerians Living In Ukraine Cry Out by emmyN(m): 6:30pm On Feb 24, 2022
They had time to move. They are there now because they chose to stay. They can join the military and make themselves useful.
Re: We Are Stranded - Nigerians Living In Ukraine Cry Out by SeriouslySense(m): 6:30pm On Feb 24, 2022
cheesy cheesy, At least they would be used as human shields grin grin grin, but seriously those that are trapped need to be evacuated.

The 20, 000 Indians that are in Ukraine are being evacuated. Stop looking for excuses, if we cannot do anything, we should admit it, that we are incapable of saving our own, lets stop blaming them, it adds no value.
