They should carry guns and join Ukrainian soldiers to defend their cities. It's as simple as that since they didn't have common sense to leave the country as soon as they saw Russian tanks in Ukraine border since last week. They were banking on Nigerian embassy's assurance, what a stupid people.

Idiot

When you all were screaming putin won't invade Ukraine, that it was all propaganda from USA, were you drunk?

This war has been coming for weeks now. Almost all countries have already told their citizens to evacuate.... What were they still doing there?

They now want to blame the Nigerian embassy as if they have not been listening to news

You wouldn't understand. It's a pity many of you are reasoning this way, put yourselves in their shoes. Majority of those trapped over there are students many of whom live from hands to mouth. Ukraine is a very poor eastern European countries, it's not easy to be studying there. It is not so easy for the natives not to talk about the foreigners. Those in the eastern part of the country will feel the heat most. May God come to the rescue of my countrymen and women.

With all these you said then they must be stupid to still be in Ukraine. I know Nigeria is stilll better than Ukraine. Because they saw whites and snow they think it will also be like America

Nigerians living in Ukraine cried out through social media after Russia attacked Ukrainian cities early on Thursday morning.
They claimed the Nigerian embassy in Ukraine had earlier given them assurances to be calm that nothing was going to happen.

On the contrary, they started hearing explosions and gunshots today and they no longer feel safe.

They were able to make it to the train station but they are now stranded as many people are attempting to leave the city at once.

Ukraine is an alt right neo fascist hotbed. Should Ukraine break down, many of these fanatics will hunt down Africans.

and said the airport has already
been destroyed and the train station where he and the other
Nigerian students were speaking
from could be bombed anytime!

The Nigerian survivor spirit will keep you guys and the over 4000
Nigerians in Ukraine safe.

Evacuations will soon take place
