That's why God told the Israelites that Cyrus was chosen to be their deliverer just as Nebuchadnezzar was chosen to be their punisher.
The Israelites knew very well that a real anointment goes with oil from the high priest who will pour it on the anointed King just as Samuel anointed King Saul and David.
But the anointment of Jesus came through God's Holy Spirit {Matthew 3:16-17} that's why all God's prophet kept waiting for the one and only King whose anointment will come through God's Holy Spirit. Psalms 2:2

Our God is no one's relation so there's no reason to like some and hate some. He will present His plans so whoever follows His plans with faith will become His friend.
He has no choice but to accept such a person because He is pure at heart so His purity binds Him from repaying evil for good.
It's your Allah that's unpredictable but as for our God to whoever is faithful He will prove to be faithful!

It's an idiomatic expressions:
Meaning God didn't use His power on Pharaoh to make Him surrender.
Imagine if Pharaoh can't stand, sit nor eat and he inquired from his magicians and they told him it's the hand of the God of Israel do you think Pharaoh will not surrender speedily?
Or you think God can't do that?
Well that's what it means, God was talking to Pharaoh as if one is negotiating Israelites release!

As for Jehovah He guides all those who are faithful, humble and obedient. He will never forsake them, that we know for sure about our God
So don't compare your unreasonable god with our own that Abraham could confidently say about Him:

"I know you, it's unthinkable of you to wipe out the righteous along with the wicked" Genesis 18:23-25

Our God totally differs from yours!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, this shows that your understanding of the word RIGHTEOUS differ.
Well righteousness is not ignorance rather it simply connotes obedience to God's righteous standard.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Same Children Yahweh send to be killed

Children don't discriminate and they're willing to learn humbly that's why the kingdom of heaven belong to those having such attributes.
But as for children born to people who don't know God's righteous standards they are like waste products because they'll grow up to be empty headed like their parents who knew nothing about God's standards even enemies of God!

Jesus' statement is not about their age but the attributes of a child.
They are willing to learn humbly!
That's the point not their age.
Jesus also referred to people (Israelites) who aren't giving him any attention as DEAD (walking corpse) {Luke 9:60} so he's telling his disciples who were trying to prevent the little children from coming closer to him because according to God's law the Israelites should learn God's word along with their little ones {Deuteronomy 31:12} so his disciples who wants to deprive those humble little children from coming closer to Jesus (the world's most Wonderful Counselor) were wrong!

Their parents are irrelevant as long as those children decided to come closer to Jesus the one whom their religious leaders are prepared to expel anyone from the temple for believing in him! John 9:22; 12:42
So if a parent choose to live and die a pagan but the child chose to serve the true God such a humble child will be rewarded for his/her faith! Ezekiel 18:20

Their parents are of no importance to the prophet who knows God's righteous standard that says "the child will not answer for the errors of his parents"
