Loool dunoo why I found this funny.

I understand sha.

I have seen people move from one face me face you to their own homes, even when they could afford renting bigger apartments.

Some would also prefer being a bit comfy and still build though slowly.

Lastlast everybody will be fine I guess.

You're talking about me, I haven't even started yet.

Hey family.

I have been a very long time member of this family, just created this for privacy.

I feel very happy to announce this here but before then...

Hear my this little story.

From 2007 to 2012, I was a cleaner collecting 25k monthly in the office and was allowed to go to school because I showed interest.

Served in Ebonyi in 2013, and still working with the same company, was not regular NYSC type but grace saw me through, despite that, I have forgone my N19500 monthly allowee.

After my NYSC, was moved to a warehouse and placed under a salary of 54k from 2013 to 2015.

Got married between 2015, resigned, and got another job for 100k in between 2016.

Sacked after 1 year because the company was closing up due to bad economy under Buhari.

Stayed unemployed with my wife who took over the family responsibility for 1 and half years of unemployment from school fees, feeding, bills and transport fares for job interviews with 4 kids at that time.

All these were done by my wife through her frozen food and foodstuff business in a rented shop in Lagos.

My breakthrough came around March 2019, was called for an interview in a construction company with a salary of 70k as a store officer, remember that I am a graduate.

70k and you will be moved straight to Ebonyi State, to Isu Nkwo/Agba community for road construction from Lagos. For 70k!!!

My wife advised me that I should take the job, and gave me 10k as pocket money to start.

Thank God for the WhatsApp video call that kept us together with 4 kids for 8months and I returned to Lagos....please for clarity's sake we usually do return to Lagos from time to time.

From 2019 to 2022, my salary had been increased from 70k to 150k in 2021.

Got an email today, from HR that my salary has been increased to 250k.

Isn't that wonderful?

This long article is to encourage someone out there.

No matter how small the salary is, please continue with hard work and dedication.

Before I forgot, I won the CEO Award for the most dedicated staff of the year for the last year 2021 with a cash prize of 300k.

Pls, keep, keeping on ladies and gentlemen here.

And most importantly, be loyal to your wife and dedicated to your family.

Your immediate family will always stand by you when your friends are gone during your trials time.

Peace.....

Don't mind my errors.....

Was just thinking about this life sha.....

Kudos to you for allowing yourself pass through that growth phase..

And kudos for having your own woman who understand the assignment, held the family in your lowest time...she deserve a ones in a while spoil if you ask me.

Stay focused you are just starting..And most importantly keep being you.

Thanks for sharing, some people need this, in this public space...The get rich quick syndrome is becoming something else.

They dont.I was arguing with somebody sometimes ago and he said he loves children and that his fiancee has agreed on five. This guy died last year. There are so many things in life that we dont have control over but the ones we have control over we leave to fate.

He died and left 5 kids for his wife in this hot Nigeria. It will take the grace of God for the mother to not become an olosho in order to care for the kids.

Who started this trend of guys making little money and instead of thinking about how to multiply it, marriage will be the next step in their mind.

That is how we recycle poverty in this country.

Religious leaders
Neighbors
Peers
Family
Married colleagues at work

All in all, the society hates a man that is doing well and not married.

Kudos to your wife sha. She's an exception from the norm.

.not everyone leaves fake life..youth these days paying rent of 600k yet no land..set ur priorities thats the basis

Shut the fück up, please.

You lots are the ones destroying this country with overpopulation, when you won't stop birthing like dogs.

He can't give those four kids the kind of life he would have been able to give to just two or one.

His salary is decent, but it's not a lot.

I bet my balls that he'll have to tell his kids to wait till a month or two to be able to get buy them certain items. That wouldn't be the case if it were just two kids or even 1.

Food is something else. I earn really well and I did calculation and what I spend on food for the family every month is astonishing. I don't even wanna talk about electricity both generator and NEPA o. It's crazy as Bleep. House rent nko if that op lives in Lagos, we all know how much house rent goes for even in the shittiest house.

Exactly!!!! When I see widows, single mothers or needy mothers with more than 2, I go just be like, where we wan start from now?!

I don’t mean any disrespect to anyone, but 2 is okay. 3 is fair enough. 4 and above is an overkill for an average Nigerian family.

Theres nothing sensible here other than another ignorant nigerian clapping for him self for earning salary at a time majority dont even have food. I use to say history is made only if you got either of these two...,
being able to bring smiles to people or being able to discover your talent and using it to try for success.
theres nothing to celebrate for salary earners .
my uncle earns millions in a month in nnpc and his still lives in a rented house in lagos.
i left my banking slave job and move into music and today i have more happines as i watch my work grow and hoping for more succes. Than being talentless depending soley on salary that cant change your fotune

You have four children and a wife and you are jubilating over 250k.
You need to change your orientation, you married when you were earning 50k you still had the guts to bear 4 children.you are educated why didn't you use family planning.
Your 250k is nothing, lets assume you get laid off what will happen.I am happy for your growth but sad at your poor mindset.
