All these offline skills are great. But truth is that, the world is developing.

Most offline skills are gradually becoming irrelevant. So instead of learning offline skill that might still keep you struggling to afford some pleasure in life (if not now but in future), rather learn high income digital skills.

Skills like Copywriting, Web designing, Facebook or Google Ads, Graphics designing, Content Marketing etc.

These skills are so high in demand. However, offline skills and businesses are good too but then, Covid-19 pandemic should teach many of us a lesson.

But we are not ready to learn.

With his phone and Internet, he can learn Affiliate Marketing and start earning as soon as he starts implementing what he's learned.

For further details, I can be reached on +2348038453347 (Calls, SMS Text Messages or WhatsApp Messages).

He should learn how to fix mobile phones. But please, ensure you enrol him with a boss who's willing to teach him well. That was the mistake I made when I wanted to learn how to fix phones: I enrolled with a terrible boss who took no slight interest whether you're learning or not.

Is he educated ? If yes, I think the future is in the digital space.
While it is good to learn 'handwork', the best skills to learn now are mainly digital. Skills like Data Science, Blockchain technology, Artificial intelligence etc.

Please , these are not highfaluting areas as they appear to be. I think Youtube is one of the best gifts to our generation and there are loads of videos on these courses to get started with, after which one can decide to take certification courses for tokens.

One doesn't necessarily need an engineering/computer science background to study or learn these skills. With determination, it can be achieved. I have a medical background and I'm currently learning one of these skills for free on YouTube.

My advice: go for the 'handwork' but consider the digital skills as well. All the best.

There are digital skills he can acquire and be making money from home. Affiliate Marketing, Copywriting, Freelancing,Web designing, car tracker installation, Amazon KDP passive income Generator etc. It's many and he can be earning pretty much from it once he's determined and taking the training seriously.

Computer programming, social media management, data analysis, etc.

Check below, and check online..
Honestly these is good but without certificate and connection is going to be difficult to get job. Which company will allow you do data analysis for them when you don't have higher certificate? The same goes for the other two.

You wrote all that as if it’s easy
It takes years to polish those skills plus your IQ must be higher than average
It’d be easier for an 18 year to start compared to a 28 year old.

Be very careful when you say marketing because I know someone who spent over 7 years on losing in marketing before he luckily hit jackpot.

Stop advising on things you have no first hand experience on.
All these sentences are hear-says
Most of what you typed are also not high income skills in Nigeria; and foreigners hardly give jobs online once they hear you’re from Nigeria
