So, I have had an interview scheduled since last year. At first it was for January 2022, they moved it to March 2022 and now they have moved it to October 2022. I qualify for IW as my visa expired in January 2021. I plan to travel in May 2022, what do you advice that i do?
How do i get to the IW portal as i can't see it on my application site.
Do i need to make another payment and fill another form?
Someone please guide me on the process.

You can cancel your appointment and apply for IW, as long as you don't need to travel out of the country within the next two months. You don't need to make another payment; you just need to update your profile, once you have booked for IW. Cheers

If you cancel this appointment, then you will have exceeded the limit of appointments canceled, and will not be able to schedule another appointment until another MRV fee has been paid. This is the message that pops up when i try to cancel.

@Nebbo was spot on. Only Under-14s would’ve been issued visas without fingerprints so it’s definitely related to your previous childbirth in the US. Although no one has shared a testimony here of success at the interview stage (after initial IW refusal due to childbirth)…it seems most people that were affected here will be doing their interviews from this week.

Arm yourself with applicable and relevant documents. God will grant you utterance and favour.

Sorry, by the way, for the extra expense and stress. You’re still better off than scheduling a physical interview that could’ve been cancelled or rescheduled. People with March and April dates were moved to October-November 2022.

I sincerely hope this isn't the case as some Lagos folks were forced to choose the Abuja appointments when there weren't available dates in Lagos.

Currently, Abuja appointments are back-logged into 2023. So hopefully, they announce IW for Abuja as well very soon since it covers both B & F categories of visa.

How can I cross check if my DS 160 form is the old one, I can't remember which month last year that I started filling the form but I submitted it last week (was just filling and saving it) to be sure its not more than 6mon5hs and I have IW appointment tomorrow morning by 8am. Can any one help please. Thanks

Look at the confirmation page, it has a date that the form was submitted

I think there’s a rule that you can’t amend the DS160 form 48-72 hours before an interview. I wonder why you delayed the submission. Please pray it doesn’t become an issue…
