It seems very very strange to me that the Nigerian born us soldier wore his US Army military uniform all the way from the US to visit his family here in Nigeria.Because my own junior brother a Nigerian born US service man on visit to Nigeria never wore his uniform when visiting us here in Nigeria years after he came back,talkless of wearing it around ,he wore civilian clothing and only his combat boots which he covered with his trousers.He only brought a souvenir of his uniform as a gift .I dont think it is proper to do that and unnecessary show off by the said soldier and would bring said attention.

I don't think he wore that uniform when he boarded the plane.And I also don't believe he wore it from the airport to his family home.

Na me self come dey wear the camo to show off and post on social media and when he saw it he was very mad at me and told me not to wear it again that it was a souvenir as a gift since it was the uniform he wore while on service in Iraq and the middle east.

For medical reasons or if in intelligence department or tactical squad that may require discreet appearances, its allowed globally for such reasons.

some soldiers and officers in nigeria also keep beards for medical reasons or depending on their department. my close navy officer friend keeps his because of medical reasons(shaving frequently can cause serious reactions to Some people) and such people are exempted.

You don't have to be. Best bet migrate via student route and seek your dreams . Been a US soldier actually accelerates your citizenship drive.

That will mean soldiers leaving their operational base should change to casual wear while leaving and it doesn't happen that way. he could travelled like that as he left his base . Its not wrong or illegal

He forget home nai he come back? You know weda na battle field he dey since? How he wan take get time arrange himself to send things come house with that kinda demanding job.

He's back home now, everywhere go stew for he family. I am very sure he didn't come empty handed.....Even if he came empty handed it isn't the end of life, better days are ahead. The most important thing is that he came back alive.
