Great entrepreneur! May God grant his soul eternal rest. I remember the days of Complete Football and ISR in the 90's; all glossy paper, he rules the sport print media. Larry echiejele (Now Izamoje) was king on the radio, while Godwin Dudu orumem (Best of football) and Masters sports Paul bassey and Mitchell Obi reign on TV. |

Complete Sports was a weekly staple of mine as young boy. The paper was delivered to vendors in my hometown every Friday afternoon. I waited eagerly along with other sports enthusiasts to purchase this paper. I saved up to purchase this and I took pride in my “collections”. Complete Sports provided the information I needed about football generally; I waited to read Complete Sports to know which player was being bought and which was leaving my favorite club (Arsenal at the time). Complete Sports made me love Sport journalism. In secondary school, I wrote the Sports News for our Monday assembly, thanks to Complete Sports. You made an impact on thousands of Sport enthusiasts long before the era of internet. May your soul Rest In Peace. 4 Likes |

That year early millennium when I use to buy for N20 ,before soccer star came on board with more direct image printing and gave it a run for money . I was at his seminar in 2008 This man actually bring out the best in the likes of akin Alabi , Samson ola tunde , Paul oghoghorie etc Hmm.... SADC 2008 I was there too! I Even took pix with Akin Alabi after the event. This man impacted alot of great minds we have all around today. Likes of Sanmi Akindipe(Successful Sanmi), Lateef Olajide, Iyabo Oyawale, Roland Nzimora,Fisayo Akinlolu, Patrick Ogidi, Toyin Omotoso etc the list are endless. Most of the foremost and top FinTech, Webmasters, Bloggers, Copywriters, Digital/Affiliate Marketers and Infopreneur CEO's we have all around today were tutored and mentored under this great man's tutelage (Dr Sunny Ojeagbase). This man was a dogged visionary. His sports newspaper ruled the minds of young Nigerians from the late 80s and throughout the 90s. You can't be at any correct guy's house without having your conversations drift to sports and consulting his papers by the corner for clarifications and insight Adieu boss. |
