Let her apply for herself. You havent married, no official bond, no cohabitation. Secondly, it will be a problem for you as a PR if you want to apply for citizenship later.

Hello guys I applied for my child on the old portal last year no update since nov . Now i applied on the new portal since jan18 for a 15month old child reunification as an international student What do I next? Am worried .... kindly advise . Many thanks

When is your traveling date on the one you submitted in November and the one you submitted on 18 January?

Biometrics done and completed - January 25 2022
Passport request - February 21 2022

What's the purpose of the visit? Can't you do the meeting online? Why must you be in Canada to participate in the meeting?

I used the document list on the portal.
I also attached the PR card of my husband and me, our utility bill, bank statements, employment letters, payslips and letter from our OBGYN. My mum also had travel history to the US so that may have helped?

@Kukuru, let me respond on behalf of the poster, Lions conference is an in person conference open to members all over the world, its a social organization that helps makes the world a better place, so yes the poster will be attending in person.

Canada is very much aware of this conference, and will be issuing visas to qualified members... What i am trying to say in summary is that, not all posters seeking for answers on this forum ask stupid questions... Not everyone will post their full reasons for seeking a visa to canada, we should try to be open minded when giving response to post. No one is a visa officer here, hence no one should be judging anyother person's intent or purpose or travel.

Let us all try to give best advice or walk away.

Good day house. I applied for visiting visa on the 5th of Feb and was sent a mail to go for biometrics on the 6th. But I didn’t see it on time. I wasn’t checking the portal(sigh) thank God I still have till 8th of March for it. But my problem is the date I put for travel was 28th Feb.(don’t know why I put it that close( double sigh) Just wanted to know if the fact that my travel date has passed affect the outcome of the visa?

Good evening ,

I am new here and I have a question. I am applying for Canadian visitors visa. However, I am at the point of submitting documents specifically account statement/proof of funds. In my application I put my spouse as my sponsor but his account does not state the required funds although there is huge inflow and outflow of money.

Now, it is okay to use my brother Inlaw's (Husband's brother) company account as proof of funds(If yes, do I state my brother Inlaw as my sponsor instead of my spouse) Or do I use my brother inlaw's(my sister's husband) statement of account who is a Canadian citizen and they are the ones inviting me over.

Please help so my application can scale through.

Send them a webform to inform them there is a typo error on your travel date. Them give them a new date

I think is your sponsors account statement that you should as proof of funds so if it's your brother in law's account that met the requirements then use it and let he be your sponsor because the essence of sponsor is to show who is financing the trip

Hmmmm. Right now I’m just praying not to get banned after reading through the thread. When asked if I have been refused visa before. Although I answered yes and stated my Uk visa refusal in 2015. I forgot to also include my 2nd US visa refusal in 2019. It honestly skipped my mind. I applied for us visa and got it in 2017. Travelled for 3 weeks but when I reapplied in 2019 I was rejected.( that was when trump just stopped drop box) I was focused on answering that I had travel history and completely forgot about the 2nd time rejection. Hopefully the fact that I at least answered Yes to the question will save me

Only me they sent to go for biometrics since 6th of February and I’m just going 4th of March Only me put intended travel date as 28th Feb.

I tire jare…….. the silly mistakes don too plenty
