Experienced mamas, please what could be the cause of this red patch on my babies head.. I’ve used sudocrem, tribotan, Vegas mixed with white capsule and cacantin on it but it still there.. been over a month and my baby has lost a lot of hair.. what can I do?

My hospital doesnt give cough syrup to kids below 3 yrs. They still dont give Zara at 2yrs+.

I also read about putting sliced onions under ur feet and then wear socks to sleep overnight, that it works for cold, flu etc

there is another cough remedy shared on a group somewhere, using onions+garlic etc, I only tried once and she spat it out so i didnt bother, I cld share if u want t try.

Being a first time mom is not easy especially when u have no help. Since I put to bed I have always cry myself to sleep and my hubby isn’t helping matters, in fact he makes everything worse for me. I have seek help everywhere but yet! I’m grateful to God for my son and I want to be a better mother to him. I really need help. Hubby said so much hurtful things to me this evening and it got to me so bad that I’m just crying. This is not normal again. I need help. Any advice from moms here.

Please note our baby is just 5 month old and her breast milk isn't producing much since yesterday. Infact the breast has almost gone flat like non nursing mother. . I'm worried because we don't know what the issue is. I have told her to go and do pregnancy test at the hospital.

Please what could be the problem.

I learnt from a Facebook page #askthepadeatrician that greenish poo is due to the baby getting only fore milk and no hind milk. What that means is that your baby is not feeding well - spends less than 20min on each breast. Your baby should spend more time on each breast in other to get both the fore milk and hind milk.

If the poo does sink completely into the diaper, then that should rule out diarrhoea or runny stomach.

Also they can poo 2 to 3 times daily or not at all for up to 1 or 2 weeks

So try breastfeeding better

But how can I make her stay for more than 20 minutes on each breasts because she doesn't suck for long even when I try to make her stay long on each breasts.

mama take it easy on yourself, try to take your mind off what hubby said. Rest when baby is sleeping, do what you can and leave the rest because house chores no dey end. stop crying and focus on taking care of your little angel. It is well ma.

most cough medicine are reported to stop/reduce the cough reflex...major reason why cough medicine is disallowed for infants and toddlers..below 4yrs abi 6yrs. there is a particular chemical in cough medicine that causes this. what is the name of the cough medicine you gave the toddler.
i suggest you take him to the hospital, for proper medical attention.

Ok.. thanks...I later used broncholyte for him and there's been a massive improvement... the doctor also checked him today and he's fine.

Hello Mummies in the house, please I need help. My child will be 1 and half years by March 10 but she is still feeding on feeding bottle. She stopped breastfeeding herself by 1yr. I'm finding it difficult to stop her from using feeding bottle. She only eat rice and indomie. Gooday mums gave birth two weeks ago,baby was born preterm so has low weight. He was treated for high bilirubin and now better though not given bcg yet. I was told to breastfeed as much as possible but my challenge is I don't lactate well. What can I do to achieve proper lactation.

yep!!! Stil sound normal to me, if its green, ur baby is probably teething but d no of pooing is stil normal.
