The Russian state-backed television channel RT is set to disappear from Sky TV in the UK within the next 24 hours, irrespective of the outcome of an investigation by the media regulator Ofcom into its coverage of the war in Ukraine.

The plug will be pulled as a result of EU sanctions, which will target the company used to broadcast RT across the continent.

Sky receives its RT broadcast from a satellite operator based in Luxembourg, which will be instructed to remove the news channel formerly known as Russia Today, as soon as the EU sanctions are officially approved on Tuesday night.

The google map propaganda is the worst of all, not to mention that a civilian has defeated Russian military personnel, (the same military men that stopped the US and allied forces in Syria that they failed to remove Asad a few years ago). Does that not show how elite their forces are? I mean the US and allied forces failed in their quest in Syria because they couldn't remove Asap.

The pictures of some ladies holding guns or others fighting without proof and other quotes are also laughable which makes me to ask this question, does the west really love Ukraine?

If they do, they'd not be posting lies just to paint a different picture of what is really going on. How do you expect to hold the mad man (Putin) responsible when Ukraine is "allegedly winning and annihilating the Russian military without weapons and Putin is getting his so called ass kicked"? SMH

1 - In a war, you don't support who is winning or losing, you support who is morally right or the victim. By your logic, we should support nazi Germany when they started losing the war?

Not all news will be accurate in a time like this, Ukraine will want to make Russia look bad, Russia will want to makw ukrain look bad, China wants the west to look bad the west want the Russia to look bad. But you can tell the truth from propaganda. No one is saying Ukraine is winning, they are saying Ukraine is putting up fierce resistance.

2 - about the girls with guns, that's not propaganda, they are really picking up guns to fight... You haven't really been following the conflict. Those girls you see as some potential cheaters must have posted here may not be the ones carrying the guns, but girls like that are carrying guns, they didn't run instead stay to help make camouflage and support in anyway they can.

Please read the bolded from your mention and see how a US who were not there to fight Asad also went there to aid the rebels. How can you support rebels against a government and still not want him to lose? How do you make such comments if not to engage in needless arguments like it is here?

If the Russians helped Asad to defeat those backed by the US and allies, how did they not win since Asad was never removed?
